We tried Fire & Chicken for the first time last night and were blown away. The chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the rice and beans tasted fresh and homemade. The plantains were delicious as well and added the perfect touch to the meal.
But the real surprise was the tres leches cake. It was honestly the best we’ve ever had… rich, moist, with just the right hint of cinnamon and sweetened condensed milk. It was so good that after finishing dinner, we ordered two extra pieces to take home.
Excellent food, great portions, and a really enjoyable experience overall. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My chicken gyro was very good, as were the fries. Mom’s burger was good as well. The woman at the ordering counter was lousy. She had no personality, didn’t greet us, no smile. I informed her there was no toilet paper in either of the restrooms. She never got off her butt to fix that. She was too preoccupied with her phone. The place needs a good cleaning as well.

At first bite I wasnt impressed now I walkeda mile to get here and a mile back. At first i thought it was dry then i put this green sauce on it and it perked drastically. I dont know what the green sauce is but its yummy. Very clean location and friendly… Lamb gyro and fries..

This was my first time having Peruvian food, and Fire & Chicken was so great it made me want to try a similar restaurant in my hometown! My favorite parts of my dish were how tender the steak pieces were, and the bed of fries that soaked up the sort of gravy everything was in to where they became part of it.

Food here is consistently delicious! Especially the sauces. Our new passion is the chicken bowl. Best of all flavors and textures. We also tried the chicken quesadillas tonight (because we ordered when we were extra hungry) and they really satisfied. Already looking forward to leftover bowls tomorrow. Thank you!

I was on my way to Richmond on 1 South and saw this restaurant and decided to stop. I have never had Peruvian food and I AM SO GLAD THAT I STOPPED!!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I even ordered another meal to go (Lamb).
The food is so fresh and light. Nothing greasy. There isn’t a long wait and the service is excellent. I wish we had one in MS. I was told by a Peruvian a few days before that there food was delicious. Well, it’s beyond delicious. The lamb chops were to die for!! I’m craving both means at same time because so flavorful and good!!
I highly recommend eating here if in area. I would never tire of this food! My hats off to Peruvian cuisine!!!!

Stopped by 5/27/23 around 5:30pm for an early dinner. Not many people there but they sure got busy before we left. I ordered the mixed kabobs with fried rice and my friend ordered Chaufa Mariscos. Both were generous servings and very tasty. Before leaving, we got freshly made alfajor to go and enjoyed it today. This was my first taste of Peruvian food but I will be back.

Terrible communication and incorrect order
This was an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. I ordered Greek salads with extra black olives and was very clear—three separate times—to the employee taking the order. He acknowledged it and said “OK.” When the food arrived, there were zero black olives on the salads.
I called the restaurant to explain the issue and was then told, after the fact, “Sorry sir, we don’t offer extra black olives.” If that’s the case, why wasn’t that explained when I asked multiple times before ordering?
To make matters worse, the fries were cold, the chicken order was wrong, and we were supposed to receive three Greek salads but did not. When I called back about the missing and incorrect items, the gentleman on the phone acted like he did not understand English and repeatedly gave the same scripted response about olives coming “in a bag” and not being flexible. I asked to speak with the owner and was flatly refused.
The communication was awful, the order was wrong, and there was no way to properly file a complaint or get accountability. This could have been handled with basic customer service, but instead I was dismissed.
I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Very disappointing experience and not somewhere I’d recommend if you expect accuracy or clear communication.
