Went here for the first time tonight for my daughters birthday. Our server Julissa was fantastic. She was kind and attentive. The food was great and came out fast. The whole staff was super nice and made our experience very pleasant. Definitely will be making this one of our regular places.

Interior was ok, but basic diner with Hispanic decor. For a place named “Senor Tequila”, I kind of expected a Tequila menu, or even a Margarita menu. If they have one, none was provided. I’ve had much better Mexican inspired food at other restaurants, however the red sauce was nice and tasted like it was made in house. We got a sampler, it was supposed to have buffalo wings (straight of a bottle bbq sauce), a cheese quesadilla, two taquitos and nachos. If I hadn’t added several items to the quesadilla (like tomatoes, jalapenos) it would not have had flavor. The beef taquito was decent, the shredded chicken taquito was dry and flavorless. The nachos were tortilla chips, watery refried beans and a little cheese. My enchiladas supremas, bland and underseasoned, red sauce was the highlight, I also got a taco, it was pretty good. My wife got a combo plate with cheese enchilada, bean burrito and rice. All bland and underseasoned, again red sauce was the star. My daughter chose chicken fajita nachos off the app menu. Those were ok, and while it is a “fajita” nacho, the Fajita sized veggies made it difficult to eat. The lack of Fajita flavor knocked it down a peg as well, but portion was generous. We all had iced tea and spent over $65 for this meal. Service was lackluster and was incomprehensible, not because of a language barrier, but because our server whispered and never repeated anything back to us, making us uncertain if she got what we said. We also only saw her twice and had to flag her down for refills.

I had a very disappointing and disturbing experience at this restaurant.
When I arrived, I was told to “just sit down.” No one walked me to a table, offered water, or checked on me for the entire time I was there — despite other customers around me being actively served. After waiting and receiving no service, I left.
About 10 minutes later, I realized my AirPods were missing. I immediately turned around and called the restaurant on my way back. The manager who answered was extremely rude and unprofessional. He told me to “come look yourself.”
When I arrived, staff insisted the AirPods were not there, even though I showed them the live location. They eventually checked the table area, but were extremely unhelpful. When I asked to speak with the employee who cleared the table, instead of assisting me, they handed me gloves and told me to dig through a trash bag myself — in a completely packed restaurant. Supposedly, that was the “only” trash bag available.
When I expressed concern that perhaps an employee may have picked them up and stated I would call the police if they were unwilling to assist, the manager told me to “do what you have to do” because he didn’t have time.
The lack of professionalism, basic customer service, and empathy was unacceptable. I felt dismissed and disrespected throughout the entire interaction. I will never spend another dollar at this establishment again.

I have been getting to go orders for the last 3 years. Service and food has been great until my last 3 orders. Not getting my full order and having to drive back to get what was missing. Today i ordered 2 beef tacos and both were only partially filled for the width of the taco. Very disappointing

Food is blah. Only two sauces available: red or cheese. Cheese is $1.25 extra. No Crema or sour cream to go on chicken enchilada. Service painstakingly slow, then my our came out wrong, that was another long wait. They were busy at all.

I’m not one to write reviews and always give a restaurant more than enough chances to not mess up my dinner but I was barely able to eat the shrimp quesadilla. Our server was decent but we only saw him 3 times. He didn’t even come back to check if our food was okay. He also didn’t get my fiancés order right. I love Mexican food and used to love señor tequila but now im feeling sketchy about going back. Just be careful with what you order and make sure it’s cooked right.

Love this Mexican restaurant in Sherwood! Always able to accommodate your large or small party. Patio is wonderful. Service is great. Food is delicious. Pricing is right. I go there a a few times per month and have had no complaints ever. Any restaurant that can not only survive but thrive during Covid-19 is certainly doing something right. Doors and service have always been open!
