I’m going to have to give this place a “5” rating. I went in and ordered and ate inside. The lobby was clean, it’s Fast Food, can’t really justify a “5” for atmosphere. Anyway, I wanted to try their seasonal fish sandwich. I opted for the traditional, versus the Cajun. The food came out quick & everything was hot ! However, I believe I got the Cajun fish, because it had a little kick to it. But it was good! The fries were very tasty as well. No complaints from me. I’ll go back and try the traditional one soon. Overall very good food.

Updated Review – Extremely Disappointed

Last week, I visited Popeyes alone and had a pretty good experience — I even left a positive review. So this time, with big hope, I ordered again and took the food home for my niece. She looked at it and immediately said she don’t like Popeyes. I insisted it would be good based on my last visit.

But once we opened the pack at home, the chicken tenders were shocking — they looked like they came from chicks that had been fasting for a month. Tiny, dry, and nowhere close to what Popeyes usually serves.

This was extremely disappointing, and honestly, I lost trust in the place after this experience — and my niece lost trust in my recommendation too.

Popeyes, please do better.

I really wanted to like this Popeyes, but unfortunately, this visit was a big letdown. This location was a stop we made while traveling back home from a short weekend getaway. We were tired, hungry, and dreaming of hot, crispy chicken you know, the kind Popeyes is famous for. Sadly… this was not that experience.
Let me start with the positive, because I believe in fairness: the staff was friendly. No issues with attitude, no rudeness, no eye-rolling. Everyone was polite, and that definitely deserves acknowledgment.
Now… the wait. Whew. The wait time was long. Like, “Did they send someone to Louisiana to personally harvest the chicken?” long. And listen ,, if food takes that long, your brain automatically assumes it’s being cooked fresh and will come out hot, steamy, and worth it.
Except… it wasn’t. The food finally arrived and somehow managed to be not hot at all, which left me genuinely confused. How does food take forever to come out and still arrive lukewarm? I’m not even mad , I’m just baffled. The math simply isn’t mathing. As for the food itself, it just wasn’t good. And that’s hard to say because Popeyes usually does not miss. The chicken tasted like it had been waiting longer than we had, and the sides didn’t help the situation. Nothing tasted fresh, nothing stood out, and nothing made me want to go back for another bite.
This wasn’t about being picky or expecting gourmet dining , this is fast food. The expectations are simple: hot food, reasonable wait time, and decent quality. Unfortunately, this location missed all three.
While the employees were pleasant, the food quality and wait time made this stop disappointing especially after a long drive.
I’ve had much better experiences at other Popeyes locations, so this one just didn’t live up to the name. Hopefully, this was an off day, but based on this visit, this is not a Popeyes I’d go out of my way to stop at again.

This location is horrible!!! I will not be back!! I placed a online order,’ that took them over a half hour to prepare and it was not busy!! Then get there they didn’t tell me they only had breast so I got 2 boxes of breasts least favorite part of the chicken… food was brought out finally and sides was wrong and was missing sides. They gave me 2 boxes of biscuits.. The employees attuides was horrible and when I asked for my money back they told me the manager went 2 another store… Im over this location !!! The service is horrible here and they always want you to pull over and wait for your food even when its not busy!!! Corporate need to pay a visit to this location its the worse!!!

I would put negative stars if possible. I placed a mobile order over 10 mins before arriving. ZERO cars in the parking lot. Completely ignored in drivethru (never greeted, for several mins) made me wonder if they were closed for some reason, so I pulled up to the window (with a smile) and a lady literally laughed at me for being at the window and did not open it. She made it clear that she did not intend on opening the drivethru window (mind you, there were no signs stating the drivethru was closed or anything) I parked my car, went inside to tell them I have a mobile order & restaurant still doesn’t have any customers—just the same 3 tickets and 3 people are on the clock… yet, entire restaurant is covered in food crumbs and trash… the same *adult* female who laughed at me is just *pretending* to work, so finally the only person actually doing anything (a man who I wish I caught his name) addressed us, saw our ticket and told us all the chicken sandwiches are frozen. He was kind, he made it right & he deserves a raise for having to work with such incompetent employees. Another customer enters the building with a mobile order; the extremely incompetent, immature woman tells the staff she needs chicken sandwiches. I then hear the man/only person doing his job tell the lady who’s been at work this whole time that they don’t have any chicken sandwiches and the fact she’s been in her own world, laughing at customers trying to pick up their mobile order & not doing anything this whole time while ONE man is carrying the whole team is SO frustrating. She should definitely be fired. We were going to eat inside but it was absolutely disgusting. The fried pickles didn’t even have pickles inside the greasy burnt breading. I hope the poor guy gets a job where he’s appreciated!

1. The speaker box for the drive through that you order through needs replaced. You can hardly hear the person taking your order.

2. They gave us the wrong drinks (no one was in front of us or behind us). Gave us an attitude when we asked for the correct one.

3. Didn’t give us a receipt (this will matter on number 5).

4. Told us that one meal wouldn’t be ready for 7 minutes which is ok with us. We waited 15 minutes .

5. When we finally got our food it was missing 2 kids meals. We went back in and they wanted the receipt WHICH THEY DIDNT GIVE US, they even said they put it in the bag (which they didn’t do that either).

6. The manager decided to let us get the 2 kids meals but they couldn’t even get the order right. We had to repeat 3 TIMES what we wanted and they acted slow.

Find a different place to eat. These employees acted like it was everyone’s first day smh.

On February 24, 2026 at 7:03 PM, I was waiting in the drive-through line to order a chicken sandwich. When I pulled up to the drive-through kiosk, they asked if I was DoorDash, and I said no. Immediately the person inside it were closed. How can you be closed to the public that open for DoorDash? That makes absolutely no sense. I would not recommend going to this restaurant ever. Stay far away.

sigh….. so i ordered from this location yesterday and they gave me no utensils no ketchup no hot sauce nothing…. I let it slide. I literally called the store and told them that i don’t drink soda and i am calling in advance to see if you guys can put lemonade instead and please put ketchup, hot sauce and utensils in the bag. They said no problem. Even instructed my door dasher that i called them in advance… I get my order they gave me some warn soda it had literally no ice. It literally tastes like warm jello. They didn’t
put not one ketchup or hot sauce packet in the bag… no utensils… Like i am annoyed. What was the purpose of me calling in advance and then telling me no problem to do the opposite. Does no one believe in good customer service anymore ??? Now i just have this dry chicken and biscuit… Let this be the last time I ever order from that location again. Like do the worker’s get in trouble for giving out sauce packets ????

I used the drive thru and the cashier asked us to park, and they can bring the food out.
The staff did the same thing to 4 other vehicles and noticed no body got there food unless they walked inside to request there order.
We waited 20mins for something that took the staff 2 mins to put together.

The store lobby also had dirt and leaves all around it.

Placed an online order and drove almost 20 minutes to my order not being ready. They were out of rhe cheese cake that my wife wanted and then she wanted the strawberry. They were out of that as well. My cheese bits were burnt to a crisp. They didn’t put our sauces that we asked for in the bags and the mac and cheese had no taste at all. The blackened chicken strips were decent tasting but definitely not worth the almost $25 we spent.
