We stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, and had a casual feel. We did not need reservations, but I could see this place getting busy at peak times. The food we had was good. I had a burger cooked to medium and a drink called the Cowboy Killer. Both were great. Service was also fine. Pretty straight forward experience. I would stop in again if in the area.

The bar/restaurant is located in Chillicothe in one of the old brick buildings downtown. The old brick gives the place a lot of character. We came on a Saturday for lunch. We were seated immediately. They have a large selection of draft beers, so I am liking the place even more. The brunch menu was still active so I ordered the fried bologna breakfast sandwich. It came with home fries. My wife had French toast. Both were excellent. The bologna had a garlic spread that I really liked. The potatoes were crispy and delicious as well. Our server was also great, attentive and friendly. This was a very tasty meal and I would like to stop again next time I am in the area.

We went for the seafood fest. The crab dip was decent but was about two tablespoons worth. I also got the crab linguine which was lacking in flavor and crab. My boyfriend got the steak frites which was also just okay. The Greek salad was probably our favorite thing. Our bill was around $97 plus tip, which I felt was a bit high considering the flavor was lacking in most of the dishes. I would give it one more try with hopes that the food was more flavored and elevated. The server was great and the space was very nice. We made a reservation therefore there was no wait.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at The Pour House on Black Friday. We truly enjoyed the warm atmosphere, tasty food, and refreshing drinks more than we expected. The bartender was overwhelmed and seemed a little stressed with how busy it was, and I noticed she seemed very rude to the other servers. I was not offered a second drink and did not order one, especially after overhearing another server wait about 15 minutes for their order, despite the place being relatively quiet. Overall, we still had a really nice time and are excited to come back again.

Server and atmosphere was great. I had shrimp and grits with andouille sausage. I received the sausage after I had eaten the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were cold as those on a shrimp cocktail. I imagine this would be a great dish if it had been served as described on the menu. They did give a free dessert due to that.

I sat at the bar and the young lady was very nice. When I asked for suggestions she was more than willing to offer some. The Cajun pasta had good flavor and pasta was not overcooked. My dessert was a berry cheesecake parfait. The flavor was really good but texture was a bit odd in the cheesecake part. It was a Monday evening and it was not busy at all. I would more than likely return.

The food is worth the visit. But, even with reservations for 4 and seated within a few minutes of arriving, we were there just under 2 hours. Drinks took a good 30 minutes to arrive. Love the food but the service makes me consider not returning.

Update 6-2024 They did make it right. Very good customer service! They did refund our order & offer a gift card. This shows me allot! That this establishment values their customers and is willing to earn back your trust/business. I will definitely go back and try again. Especially because originally everything was so good. I hope it is when we try again, will let you know 6/18/24 Edit- this first review was a few years ago but after terrible food and service had to edit my review. First review will be the one in parentheses. (Great food and service. We got the big pretzel with the beer cheese, soup, burger, fries & creme brulee my daughter got a kids meal. Everything was great! Nice experience ) 6-2024. You can see my previous review, I loved this place! But recently I have been nothing but disappointed! Mac and cheese with the noodles not even cooked & so dry almost NO SAUCE! French onion soup watered down, NO FLAVOR, had almost NO cheese on it. I love supporting local businesses, but when I have to cook the noodles and then add sauce, warm up my soup and add cheese bc there was almost NONE, why am I paying you to make my food? It used to be good, amazing even. But the last 2-3 times we have ordered it has went downhill! I will say the sautéed spinach was was ok, but had a lot of extra oil that was not necessary. So very disappointed At the end (last pic) I will try to add a Pic of the mac & cheese someone else posted 3 months ago & is what I expected and experienced when I ordered previously. You can see for yourself the HUGE difference! Will edit if this is made right, but after at least 3 times of them messing up I doubt it!

Excellent beer selection, happy hour specials are a superb deal, service was very friendly and attentive. Wings were well seasoned and slightly spicy for the hottest option. Fries were arguably some of the best I’ve ever had, the burger was cooked to order and juicy.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this place and definitely plan to come back!
