I stopped by the Jack in the Box on Santa Monica Blvd and honestly, this spot delivered.
I ordered the Hot Mess combo and it came out hot and fresh, no lag, no attitude — just solid service. The sandwich was stacked with those crispy jalapeño onion rings and that creamy white sauce that cools the heat just enough so you can actually taste everything. Perfect balance. Crunch, spice, creamy smoothness — all working together.
They didn’t skimp either. The curly fries were generous and seasoned just right. You know that moment when fries are fresh out the fryer and still snapping a little? That. Plus two tacos on the side — classic Jack tacos, always dependable — and an ice-cold Coke to seal the deal.
For Santa Monica prices, this felt like a real bargain. Hot, tasty, filling, and fast. The crew was cool and professional, and the food came out exactly how you want it — fresh and dialed in.

I had ordered a chicken sandwich and there was literally barely any chicken.. it was 95% breading. I thought it would have been better in the middle but no. They also only gave us 1 napkin and 2 sauces when we had ordered 3 entrees

Ordered eggs rolls and wraps…grilled and crispy. Visited 2 days in a row. On Wednesday food was very good. The next day I had egg rolls and a crispy chicken wrap but i ordered grilled chicken so that got my order wrong. The atmosphere was unclean. Bunch of homeless people with carts and bags just inside sitting around. Bathroom was absolutely filthy. I literally was afraid to touch anything especially in our time where viruses are running wild. Manager needs to address these issues. Though I did visit, I didnt feel very safe in the establishment I felt on edge…..

I’m usually there around 8am, so the drive thru is very busy, so it’s understandable that service can be a tad slow at the counter. I personally use the self service kiosk and my order comes pretty quickly. Sometimes I’ve received a sandwich that was rushed to much, but that’s not the norm. The atmosphere is reasonable, can be crowded and because of the homeless in the community, at times it can be challenging. Overall I look forward to my visiting this Jack cause it helps me start my commute to the East side.

My boyfriend and I are visiting California for the week and tried Jack in the Box for the first time and were thoroughly impressed! Maria was so wonderful and we chatted for a few minutes while she was helping prepare our food! She made sure everything was perfect!!

The largest critique is when ordering closer to closing time, the staff generally feels annoyed or upset that I’m ordering at that time. This is very consistent across multiple nights of ordering later in the night.
It’s rather disappointing, as hospitality should be the focus in places like these.

I see a lot of bad reviews for any Jack in the Box, but they seem to miss that this is cheap, junk food, and it is great for what it is. If you want a huge burger with special meat and all sorts of fun stuff, go elsewhere. Although I have to say they have the best shakes for any place, pricey or otherwise.
We love this Jack in the Box. It is always clean outside, we use the drive thru, and the service is super. They get your order right the first time. If you want to eat there you can, they also have free parking.
Right now, I am hooked on their breakfast items and their tiny tacos. Their croissants are so good. Now, this is not some huge thing from a pricey bakery, but it is tasty. It has egg, ham and cheese and it really hits the spot.
The tiny tacos are so yummy. They come in a little box and are deep fried.
Their shakes are the best. I don’t care where you go, you will not find better. Oh, and the machine is never broken.
It can get a long line for lunch so we try very early for breakfast and later for dinner.

I visited this establishment on February 3rd at 1:25 AM and placed an order with specific requests that were not standard items. Upon arriving at the payment window, I noticed the cashier had not correctly itemized my order. Before completing the payment, I asked the cashier to reiterate my order. The second time, it was stated correctly, though there seemed to be a language barrier that made communication somewhat challenging. I received my order, but upon inspection before departing, I found it to be entirely incorrect and seemingly prepared in haste. Consequently, I returned to the window and requested a refund. I will certainly not be returning to this location.

Stopped in for what I thought would be a quick burger to go. There was one person in front of me inside, and only 3 cars in the drive through. I ordered one jr jumbo jack cheeseburger, and it took almost 10 minutes to get it, only to find out it didn’t even have cheese on it. I was too far away to return, nor did I think it would be an issue solved in a timely manner.

A quick place you can get food if you are in a hurry. I don’t usually fast food but when I do jack in the box has one of the best curly fries in the game. Always either get the teriyaki chicken bowl combination with French fries and a drink. Or I would go with the double jumbo jack burger with no cheese as I am not a cheese person. For the EBT users they accept it there.
