The empanadas alone are worth the stop. They’re packed with flavor, and the 3 for $10 deal is hard to beat. There’s a nice variety of options, and they’ll even make more if they run out. The soup was a strong runner-up—it was served in a unique pot that helped keep it warm and added a nice touch.
If you’re in a hurry or don’t want to sit down, they also offer a food bar where you can choose what you want and have it packaged to go, which is a convenient option. They do have desserts as well, but those felt overpriced for what you get.
The restaurant itself is thoughtfully designed and works well for all types of occasions. There’s plenty of seating and a bar positioned in the center, giving the space a lively but comfortable feel.
Overall, it’s a great place to stop by when you’re craving flavorful, satisfying latin food.

I came with my wife and the Latinos and Latinas from the church we attended on Hodge Street and had authentic Cuban and Puerto Rican food. I chose to eat the El Cubano sandwich but my wife and friends chose Mofungo or Chicharrons. The service was very good and did a great job to bring our food on a timely basis. Our party consisted of 27 people and the restaurant accommodated us easily.

Nice place if you can get anyone to acknowledge you. Went for the brunch which did not match what was online at all. After waiting almost 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, took one look at the menu and decided we would be better off going somewhere else. Most unfortunate as I try to support mom and pop restaurants. Went across the street to a chain!

Sad for a restaurant to be claiming authentic Puerto Rican food and to be so disappointed! Overpriced for the food received! Do better !

I came to try their Tripleta and Empanadillas. The Empanadillas sucked and the Tripleta was nowhere near as good as what I had at Tainos. Haven’t tried anything else. The stuff in their main food line looked pretty good, but that’s stuff you can make at home. Place looks really nice, has an actual bar, not open while I was there. Nicely decorated place, very clean. Service was pretty fast. Glad I tried them but I will not return.

We decided to go to this place for dinner, because we missed our Puerto Rico food, we’ll I must say that I got my money’s worth, my hubby had the shrimp soup, that can feed 2 to 3 people. I had the chicken garlic sauce with white rice and pink beans. It was delicious. The atmosphere is Perfect just like being in Puerto Rico where you can mingle with all. Everyone was super friendly. Very clean place. Dessert they have are made in house from a seller who bakes them just for them. The pastelillos de Guava are delicious . Definitely I will recommend this place 1000%. Nicole was our server and what a smile on her face she was friendly and knowledgeable on what would pair with what. I’m glad we decided to go there. No regrets

I’ve tried several dishes and have loved them all! The mofongo is amazing, the chuleta kan kan is delicious and enough for several people. Today I had the breakfast and felt like I was back in Puerto Rico! I recommend it, oh and the live music on the weekends is super fun! Customer service is top notch and make you feel at home. Looking forward to trying more things.
