Oh! This place is so lovely on a bitterly cold winter morning. Our server was an absolute angel sent from heaven, the food was delicious and filling.

Old school diner type breakfast/lunch establishment. Straight forward menu, decent no thrills breakfast items. Your coffee is always re-filled, food was ok, service was good.

First time I’ve been and yes it was Valentine’s yesterday so I understand some of the wait staff was likely tired. But it just sucks when you go to the restaurant and you see all the other tables getting good service while your table gets ignored. Half my table order water while the other half bought fancy lattes are mimosas. When the special drinks came out we were told they were out of water cups and we’d have to wait. After 20 mins of waiting for water I see her at the drink fountain so I go to remind her our table still didn’t have water. Her response was “I will don’t have water cups”. There were plastic cups on the shelf, to go cups behind here and a bar full of glasses so why couldn’t we have any of those cups? Water arrived with the food and wouldn’t you know it the cup was dirty and had debris floating all around. You would think if you made your table wait 20 plus minutes for some water you would make sure you got the clean cups that you made them wait for. They also need to fix the front door as it constantly slams. Food was okay, some poached eggs were overcooked and when I asked for a togo box there was greasy aluminum foil in the box, so I took it out and there was grease on/in the box as well. My friend with the mimosa said her glass was filthy and had makeup on it. Food was okay but I likely won’t be back

We recently visited Emmily’s for the first time. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful ( we took some home). Our server was amazing – attentive, smiling, and on top of things!

The price was fair and we definitely plan to go back

Been a big fan of this place since I lived down the street a few years ago, now that I live far away – I go out of my way to grab a great breakfast here! Haven’t ever had a bad meal, so I tried the Chicken & Waffle – the jalapeños were a great touch to the sweetness of the maple syrup & bacon! Glad I didn’t walk here this time, I was too stuffed to walk anywhere after that delicious meal!

The food was good, I had the chicken and waffles which comes with bacon crumbles and jalapenos which is a nice touch!

My father got the waffle and eggs (you can pick whatever fruit you would like on the waffle which is also nice, he picked banana). Had a side a bacon which woukd have been better it if was crispy.

My husband had the biscuits and gravy, which is enjoyed. It was a pepper gravy with two whole boscuts cut in half (most places will give you a biscuit cut in half).

It did take a while for the food to come out but it is a Sunday which makes things a lot busier. The food came out hot, so that all we can ask for and the waitress was attentive with coffee refills.

Absolutely delicious today. Bacon & Mozzarella cheese egg omelet & Bacon & eggs Benedict with perfectly seasoned home fries. Onions in it would have been even more better. I will sat we do not like the booths. The tables are too small & you have to lean in to eat. Great ad on the receipt for an appetizer & entree special during the week. We will be back!! Compliments to the Chef!!!

Delicious avocado eggs Benedict. Perfect place for breakfast and lunch. Came here with my cousin, he got the corned beef and hash eggs Benedict and said it was his “new favorite breakfast”. The hollandaise sauce was cooked perfectly, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed because there were many patrons but they were so friendly and accomodating. We were seated immediately and placed our order. Despite the many people, we had out food in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious.

Edit (5.14.23):

I am truly disappointed – my husband and I regularly eat at Emily’s and have always enjoyed the brunch. However I just had the worst experience that I hope the owner will think long and hard about rectifying the unethical business practices.

Today is Mother’s day and the restaurant is understandably busy. To streamline things, they limited the menu. This is not a bad thing. The issue is that nothing was special about it other than being pink and more expensive than the regular menu. Being a regular, I ordered the old fashioned (two eggs, toast and home fries) which is normally $7. I usually get a side of avocado ($2), and a coffee (usually $3, but during today’s price gauging it was $4). I was expecting my meal to be $13. My meal ended up being $21. Let me repeat that…the most basic breakfast…two eggs, toast, and potatoes with half an avocado and coffee cost $21.

I can afford a good meal and don’t mind paying for quality. However this was the owner just looking to profit off of mother’s day by offering less options and charging more for the same food. In the bartender’s defense, she did offer to reduce the price. But one person’s fixed ticket is not going to matter for a whole business’s bad practices. I asked to speak to the owner to share the feedback that it is wrong to price gouge. I made it clear that if he couldn’t make the time to chat and consider fixing his bad practices, I’d leave a negative google review detailing why this was wrong. He couldn’t be bothered to speak to me and sent the bartender back to me with a $5 bill. It was insulting to think $5 was going to make me be quiet about a truly unethical business practice (offer less and charge more). Taking advantage of people’s love of their moms (and apparently they also do this on Easter), is disgusting. You know that you’re going to be packed (re the streamlined menu). This would be a big profit day anyway. Upping your prices for one day is insulting to the regulars and unfair to those looking to create a nice experience for their families.

So here we are with a negative review. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but the unethical practices of Emily’s where they intentionally offer less, but charge more is disgusting. The food is good. The servers are awesome. The owner is unethical.

I sincerely hope the owner will reconsider his position. Your customers deserve better.

Great food, friendly service, and a true treat for Sunday brunch. I am addicted to their garden omelet, and the hash is my husband’s absolute favorite. 100% recommend!

Unfortunately this place has great days but also terrible days. I forgave them once for leaving plastic wrap from the cheese they used within my omlete. Months later they put feta cheese instead of american cheese in my omlette but decided I still should lay for it even though I didnt eat it. Im just let down. Unfortunate because they have good food.
