Best food we have had in Europe thus far. We have just finished the Rhine cruise through Viking. Our concierge recommended this place. Best bruschetta I have had in my life. Excellent pizza and soup too. Great service and HUGE portions. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant! After seeing insane prices near the water for tourist trap vibes restaurants, my sister and I ventured just a street inwards and found this gem! The plates are HUGE, service impeccable, and it helps that the kitchen crew is Italian! We got a pizza which was great, but highly suggest one of the past dishes. The cinq pasta was amazing!

The food was solid, especially the lasagna baked in the wood fired oven. I also ordered the vongole pasta, which had great flavor, but unfortunately, there was a lot of sand in the clams, which made it a bit disappointing. The service was good, and the tiramisu was absolutely delightful.

We are staying at the Weisses Kreuz hotel and decided to try the hotel’s restaurant, which was a great choice. The menu is quite large, as are the portions, and the prices very reasonable. Our waiter was a lot of fun and encouraged us to try a local beer over our first choice and we were not disappointed. We split a pizza al forno which was another good choice, as it was delicious and large enough for two. Some people might enjoy a starter, but half of one of these pizzas and a pint of beer was just right for us. The pizza was cooked in an authentic Italian domed oven and served piping hot. The next day, we checked menus and prices at other restaurants and were even more pleased that we ate here. Highly recommended! Note: I didn’t photograph the entire menu or the large wine list, but the variety of offerings is more than enough to satisfy any appetite!

This Italian restaurant in Luzern is an aboslute gem. The atmosphere is uniquely warm and welcoming. I truly wish more places in Switzerland had this kind of charm and hospitality. The service is outstanding. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Their genuine warmth adds to the overall experience.
The food is fresh, delicious, and satisfying. The pasta is delightful, the pizza is solid and flavorful.
Worth mentioning that this place is dog-friendly! Your furry friends are welcome and can enjoy fresh water while you dine.

I would have given them 4 stars and even left a tip if they did not sneak a “sharing plate” fee of 5 CHF. We asked for only 1 pizza and the waitress asked if we want “sharing plates”. We said yes as we did not see the tiny little letters at the bottom of the menu saying there is a fee, nor did the waitress warned us about it. 24 CHF for a salami pizza and 8.5CHF for 100ml of wine is enough money, you don’t need to charge me 5 extra for washing a plate. Definitely don’t try to hide it until the check arrives. Other than that the food is really great, and the restaurant is nice. Just watch out for tricks.
