I recently had a very disappointing experience at Taco Bell due to the unprofessional behavior of several employees. When I walked in, the employees behind the counter were more focused on their phones than helping the customers who were waiting. Instead of greeting people or taking orders, they were standing around on their phones while the line grew longer.
What made the situation worse was seeing the manager scratch her back while wearing gloves and then continue working without changing them. That’s a serious hygiene concern and very unpleasant to witness when food is being handled.
On top of that, the two ladies working the register were extremely rude. They had a bad attitude and acted like they didn’t want to help anyone. There was no greeting, no politeness, and no basic customer service.
Overall, the environment felt very unprofessional. Between the employees being on their phones, the lack of cleanliness, and the rude behavior at the register, it made the whole experience frustrating and uncomfortable. I hope management addresses these issues because customers deserve better service.

I work in food service, so I’m usually pretty generous about restaurant reviews. The food is fine, pretty much what you’d expect from a Taco Bell. But you should factor in an extra 30-60 minutes for your order. Doesn’t matter if it’s drive-thru or delivery. Don’t expect professionalism or timeliness.

Everything our order was correct and it can out promptly, but they were the skimpiest portions I have ever seen. My fries were not even filled half way and the nacho sauce was basically non existent. Every taco in our order had less filling than a quesadilla.

Items are frequently left out of orders; food quality is inconsistent, even by Taco Bell’s normal standards (see the unmelted cheese on the quesadilla); service is often friendly, but not always.

I’m just trying to enjoy my food, and then out of nowhere one of the workers started full-on banshee screaming at a customer from all the way in the back of the kitchen??? The customer had not said a single word, not moved even, let alone act aggressively, and this worker started yelling at him about how he was being extremely rude by “staring at her” while she was working. She threatened to call the cops on him!!! For standing?!! Every other customer was also waiting in the same area also waiting for their food, but nobody else was being yelled at or threatened. The difference? The customer was black and everyone else was white. The worker was white as well, if that wasn’t already obvious. Pink scrunchy, brown hair.
The racism was blatantly obvious and revolting. In 2025? Are we serious, Taco Bell? Is this what you stand for now? Not a single move from any of the other workers to stop her either.
The man unfortunately tried to defend himself and then stood in shame until his food was ready and he could storm out.
This behavior is disgusting and I can’t believe this is being tolerated by corporate.

Boo, I ordered a Double Decker Taco supreme and they gave me a regular. Added jalapenos to my burrito for 75 cents more, and they were not included. Best of all, my order was take out so I didn’t find out it was incorrect until I got home. Rude of them to hand out incorrect orders at night, knowing folks won’t drive back to complain.

I was doing Doordash delivery and arrived at this place two hours ago. Two hours later, I still have not gotten the order. The employees say they “have to read 15 pages of orders” or something, like their system “crashed”. 1) Other people I talked to say this is the average experience, so I don’t believe this is a problem with a “system crash”. 2) If the system did crash, then why is this place open in the first place then?

WORST TACO BELL EVER!!! VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL!! What I ordered I did not receive. Hair was in the food. They refused to give me what I ordered even though it was on my receipt. Food was as black an hard as asphalt. Terrible service. This has happened to many. I say health inspection need to be done an they need to be SHUT DOWN!! So many people in the comments have had bad experiences.. why is this place still open..? Like what..?? food poisoning.. Burnt items.. hair in the food.. not clean.. rude service.. dead bugs in peoples food… come on athens these are the people you want serving your community.. do better!!!
