The food is fresh, hot, and pretty fast considering they make it to order. The Philly cheese steak was filling and very tasty. My wife had the meatball sub -which had enough cheese to last to the very last bite. “Fantastic” was her response. It was so good we went back again to try out a different meal. This time I had the Italian Sub and was not disappointed. All very tasty!
If you’re in a mood to get a decent, tasty not too expensive meal in a no frills setting where the locals eat- try Mad dogs. You’ll not be hungry nor disappointed that you did!

I know this was awhile ago, but in 2021 I came here on our way home from the Grand Canyon. I ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza. The guys there didn’t know what that was and asked me what comes on it. So I told them how to make it and they made it. It was not on the menu, but they went above and beyond and made it anyways. Great place, and awesome service. They made me feel like I was welcome. I would definitely go here again and would highly recommend Moondogs! You guys are awesome. Thanks again! P.S. yes I tipped lol.

We stopped here after hiking in Sedona with our toddler, easily found parking, was immediately happily greeted when we walked in the door & given a gracious moment while we reviewed the menu. We decided to just order some slices & were surprisingly gifted an entire pizza. The generosity left me speechless but also the pizza was THE BEST and the Freshest we’ve had in a very long time. This place is definitely worth the visit. May God continue to bless this business abundantly. Did I mention they have a kids table for them to sit at? Amazing.

We loved the pizza from Moondog’s! We ordered the Moondog’s Classic and took it back to our hotel, and ate it by the fire pit! The crust was just right, and there were plenty of toppings. This was our last night in Sedona, otherwise I might have tried to convince my wife to order from here again!

My family and I were visiting Sedona and decided we wanted pizza. But not only did we walk into a pizza place. We walked into the most welcoming and kindest environment. They made us feel like our business was important and truly made us feel as we were family walking in and oh boy was their pizza, antipasto salad, wings and hamburger’s all were amazing!!! Pizza was really good. You could tell they use quality ingredients. Wings were on point! Not breaded or greasy. Just right and the sauce was just spicy enough. When I called to place my order, they made suggestions based on my order that saved me over $10! And I got a bigger pizza with a 2-liter! I call that excellent customer service. My only gripe is that they gave me ranch instead of blue cheese. As if! Thankfully, the food was good enough that the added BC was not necessary. I highly recommend this place for really good pizza at great prices with caring owners who take pride in their product.

Ordered pizza to go. They did not answer the phone so we drove there. They said they turned the phones off cause they are understaffed and too busy. Pizza is okay at best. Wings were like biting into cardboard with minimal flavor. Guys were friendly when they took our order.

The name piqued my interest while my best friend and I were looking for dinner. I called to place our order, and the employee was friendly and ensured he got each item down. When we walked in to pick our order up, it felt like walking into a second home. We were welcomed, and our food was all ready for us to whisk away back to our hotel. We ended up talking with one of the owners. He was so kind and friendly. So we took our pizza back to the hotel, and opening the pizza box was like opening a portal to pizza euphoria. The pizza was hot and had a plethora of toppings. The crust was a perfect balance between soft and crisp. A sturdy holder for the delectable mixture of sauce, cheese, pepperoni, pineapple, and green peppers. Each bite was swirling with flavors and reassuring you that you had, in fact, found your perfect pizza.

AMAZING FOOD, even better service! After a day of exploring we stopped at a few different places that were packed and had rude staff so we ended up at Moon Dogs. First off, the service was amazing!! The food was as fresh as you can get, pizza came out very fast and it was fantastic pizza! Would go here again!
