This time we had an extremely rude and dismissive. All I asked for was more onions on my Oklahoma smash burger. Which was advertised to be “smothered in onions”.
The server portrayed to me with his body language and his curtness. That it was my problem that I did have enough onions.
I was very disappointed in this interaction.
If I hadn’t had a burger for lunch, I would have tried one of the Lucy burgers. They looked amazing and I was told that they are. I opted for the Chicken Pot Pie which was also amazing. Be warned. If you’re in a hurry, don’t get the Pot Pie. It was super hot for a while.
I got the Alaskan Amber beer and it was equally as good as the food above.
I did finish up with the chocolate chip Lucy and I have to say I was disappointed. I was expecting a warm soft chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The cookie was, in my opinion, very hard. The waitress did her part to try to make right and brought another and, while it was better, it still wasn’t what I expected.
All that said, I still would recommend this place. The food is excellent and still recommend this place.
We had totchos for the appetizer, they’re stuffed, oversized tater tots, they come with a lot of cheese inside-out, a side of sour cream and they’re topped with green onions.
My partner had the Steakhouse Lucy, and the side salad.
I had the Pepper-jack Lucy, with fries.
For those who don’t know: A Lucy is a hamburger patty stuffed with cheese before it is cooked.
The Steakhouse Lucy was delicious, juicy, but a little undersized for the price -$16.00 the bun was larger than the burger. The salad was a standard-fair salad. I love that they added cucumbers and cherry tomatoes!
The Pepperjack Lucy was oozing with cheese from the first bite, I’ve never had a better-stuffed burger. It was juicy and the bread was slightly toasted, which I absolutely loved! However, the burger was smaller than the bun.
The fries were crisp and you get a large portion.
As far as service goes, we are there on a Friday night, we were seated immediately. However, despite there being plenty of staff, our server forgot us twice, he didn’t really check on us until we were ready for the check.
Although the service is lacking, the prices are a little high for the small burger that you get. We will eat there again.
