Being German myself, I did like the decor(very reminiscent of small local bar/pub eatery vibe). The waitresses were friendly but struggling to keep up the service with a large lunch crowd being present(understandable, they did have a “now hiring wait staff” sign up).
The food was decent, got the Jägerschnitzel and a small cucumber salad. The salad dressing was a tad sweet and a little too watery and the Schnitzel is traditionally pounded very flat and thin. But overall a decent representation of German home cooking.

Wonderful experience!!!
Been to a few German restaurants here in the states; this was the best!!!!
Their German potato salad was different than my German Aunt made and what we had in Germany.
Will definitely be back.

I ordered the curry wurst and potato salad. It was so good! The kids got chicken tenders, french fries and ice cream. Their chicken looked super tasty! My other children ordered a bratwurst meal and it was super good. We will definitely return for a good and authentic German meal! We even went to the little store afterwards and got some German goodies! They have upstairs and downstairs dining with street parking.

Pretty cool place, worth while checking out. Pick up take out for two. Both plates were enjoyable. The market attached to the restaurant is cool. Has a lot of neat German things. There desserts looks amazing and so beautifully displayed in the front as you walk in. Very clean. Atmosphere was great. Music was vibing. Just a neat little place to check out.

Very good food and service. Had the mushroom rahm schnitzel, the salad sampler, and the cakes. Don’t sleep on the cakes.

We came in so excited to try a German meal that we didn’t have to cook ourselves ( being German and from the motherland). We ordered frikaellen, rahm schnitzel and a brat sandwich. The brat was over cooked and the sauerkraut tasted straight from a jar. The frikaellen was over salt and had no flavor and the rahm schnitzel was not pounded thin but my husband was fine with it. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and not even warm. As for some comments per wait staff being rude I can totally see where you’re coming from. It wasn’t busy when we arrived but midway through our meal it got busier. The other waitress started getting snippy with customers as they arrived and was visibly heated when they didn’t exactly do things the way she thought they should do them. Our waitress was very kind and fairly attentive although our water was never refilled.

If you don’t know German food you won’t be disappointed in your meal but if you’re German and you cook it’s better to just stay home and do it yourself, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting and the way you remember it.
In closing the prices online do not reflect the prices on their menu in the restaurant expect to pay at least $2.00 more a meal.

I drove over an hour to try this place after hearing good things, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown.

To start, the customer service was awful. The waitress/bartender was incredibly rude. It really set the tone for the rest of the visit.

As for the food—equally disappointing. I ordered the jaeger schnitzel and German potato salad. The schnitzel was dry, bland, and served cold. The potato salad tasted like it had been sitting out too long—completely lacking in flavor. It had an overwhelmingly sour taste that made it almost inedible.

I only took a few bites of the food.

This was a place I was genuinely excited to visit, but it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Sadly, I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good German food or good service.

My husband and I had our early dinner here on 1-31-2026. We arrived prior to the 2pm opening, so we came back and arrived a few minutes after 2 pm. We were seated upstairs. Didn’t want to sit at bar. The food was delicious. We you please update your prices online. The prices online do not reflect the menu in the restaurant. We were expecting to pay less. It was worth $42.00. That is fine! We thank you for a pleasant dining experience. It reminded me of our years spent in Germany. We are looking forward to our next Rosenhof experience. Weiner schnitzel taste different since my last visit. Still should have asked server for wuerze/ maggi sauce. P.S. Staff pleasant, friendly, well groomed, and environment pleasant and establishment well maintained.

5 stars my first ! The food so yummy. The cucumber and cold greenbean salads are the best. The service is always great fast and accurate typical German efficiency. I would like to recommend the friday lunch specials who’s name escapes me but its basically two hamburger sized meatloaf in a bed of super creamy mashed potatoes. So good! AND THE BEER ! Try one they speak for themselves. This is a great place to get a meal with a authentic German cuisine.
