The food was decent, got the Jägerschnitzel and a small cucumber salad. The salad dressing was a tad sweet and a little too watery and the Schnitzel is traditionally pounded very flat and thin. But overall a decent representation of German home cooking.
Been to a few German restaurants here in the states; this was the best!!!!
Their German potato salad was different than my German Aunt made and what we had in Germany.
Will definitely be back.
If you don’t know German food you won’t be disappointed in your meal but if you’re German and you cook it’s better to just stay home and do it yourself, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting and the way you remember it.
In closing the prices online do not reflect the prices on their menu in the restaurant expect to pay at least $2.00 more a meal.
To start, the customer service was awful. The waitress/bartender was incredibly rude. It really set the tone for the rest of the visit.
As for the food—equally disappointing. I ordered the jaeger schnitzel and German potato salad. The schnitzel was dry, bland, and served cold. The potato salad tasted like it had been sitting out too long—completely lacking in flavor. It had an overwhelmingly sour taste that made it almost inedible.
I only took a few bites of the food.
This was a place I was genuinely excited to visit, but it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Sadly, I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good German food or good service.
