The parking area looked a bit weird and it felt like a stop for abondoned cars for some reason.
Anyway the chicken tikka boti didn’t look like the photos honestly. It tasted fine though. When i opened the pack after 10 minutes of picking it up, the foil had accumulated water from the steam which wasn’t a great experience.
The salad was plain and i mixed it up with the chicken.
The chai tasted good and sweet.
I am going to try some more in future and update it here.
The complimentary tea was a delightful surprise — it’s rare to find one that tastes this good(if it’s free)
The restaurant offers some great food, especially the Samosa Chaat (as good as any of the best places in the sub-continent). The burgers, both veg & non-veg were very amazing too, we tried the Zinger Burger & the Masala Burger (Vegetarian).
However, with low lighting and deserted surroundings, the ambiance did feel a little shabby.
PS: The food was so good, I would still return to this restaurant everytime I am in the bay area and I miss Indian Food.
2. They offer complimentary tea – they were making fresh tea when we reach there
3. Zinger burger – too good, liked the chutney it was served with do try it
The place is very low key NOT a fancy place but food is too good!
We went around dinner time so there were a bit of a crowd, but we quickly found place to sit and ordered a number of things. The appetizers are good, especially dahi puri was presented well and tasted good.
The zinger burger was ok, and I wished it had more zing in it than just deep fried breaded chicken. The anday wala burger aka bun kabob took the cake. It was very nicely done. The texture and flavor were excellent. The sauce tangy and nice. Overall a great item to eat here.
We also tried the paratha chicken roll which was at par.
Service is good and they kept the place clean and good. The outside seating area was rained out when we visited but could make for a good place to eat.
Overall, a good experience.
Although I really enjoyed the food, it might be a bit strong in terms of spice for some people. For example, the Crazy Curry Fries contain cilantro, so if you’re not a fan, be cautious. As for the Bomb Kebob, while I liked it and found it flavorful, the spice level was somewhat strong, so keep that in mind.
