I ordered the Rio Grande omelette this morning (12/19/2025) and while i was eating I look at a piece of onion on my fork and I see this silver piece and as i grab it i realize its a wire from one of their grill cleaning brushes. When our server Linda brought back my re made order, she told me not to be afraid ? Odd thing to say. Not great service … yall be careful and check your food !!!

I just moved to the area and have ordered 3 times.
EACH TIME HAS BEEN HORRIBLE! This specific time I had a plate full of grease and uncooked hashbrowns. The French toast wasn’t cooked all the way.
And when you bring it to the manager Nellie’s attention… she could care less!
Visit Cracker Barrel.. You’ll save yourself a lot of aggravation!

Two of my friends, were hungry after a Holy Spirt filled Sunday service & decided to eat at Bob Evens. Except for eating a few on a Pizza, I had an amazing experience, of Bob Evens Steak Tips with mushrooms dinner! Tegan, the Experienced Professional Waitress, was the Best! She has a ❤️ for her Job & People & went the extra mile. Superior Service, with an extra pot of hot water, for my lemons! Thanks, Bob Evens!

We came in for dinner on 1/18 after having a couple of disappointing experiences recently at the Blacklick location near our home, which we usually visit. We decided to try this location instead. I was especially excited to see that the beef vegetable soup was back, and with how cold it was outside, it seemed like the perfect meal. I had been very disappointed with the soup I received at the Blacklick location about a week prior. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted immediately by one of the managers, who was very welcoming. He seated us and let our server know right away. She came over promptly and took our drink and dinner orders. Around that same time, an elderly woman came in by herself with four children, and the same server went right over to take their order as well. Our drinks were brought out quickly. While we waited for our food, we overheard the elderly woman speaking to the children. She was incredibly sweet and kind, and the children were some of the best-behaved I’ve seen in a restaurant in a long time. None of them had electronics at the table; they sat quietly coloring and talking among themselves, so quietly that you could hardly hear them. Our food came out quickly, hot, and of excellent quality. I was very happy when my soup arrived—it had plenty of vegetables, some beef, and very little broth. The server mentioned they had run out earlier, so this batch was fresh. This was a huge contrast to my experience at the Blacklick location, where the soup was cold, mostly broth, had hardly any vegetables, and only two pieces of beef. It felt like the bottom of the pan. After we finished our meal, we went up to pay. My fiancé was so impressed by the elderly woman and the children that he wanted to pay for their meal as well. The manager came over and told my fiancé how kind that gesture was. We paid for both meals, and the manager thanked us. We will definitely be returning to this location. I would also like to add that after contacting guest services about my concerns with the Blacklick location, they did reach out to me, and the Director of Operations also contacted me personally. I was very pleased with how seriously they took my concerns and their response to customer feedback.

My fiancé and I were in this location recently, the service was great, food not bad, however the neighboring table was the main problem. The problem was a lonesome older man who reeked of garlic, had his bare feet with his big toe sticking out on the seat across form him. Not only was he unpleasant to be around, but was also creepy towards the servers, making inappropriate comments, starring at them in strange ways, and even attempting to touch them in ways that a customer shouldn’t. I can’t decide what’s worse, the noises that were emitting from his phone, or the environment that he created. Other than this creepy, and honestly gross presence, the service was great, and without him, I’d go again.

Stopped in for the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with hash browns. Service was solid and the wait wasn’t bad. The eggs were cooked well, but the hash browns were underdone, the gravy was a bit lumpy, and the portion size was smaller than expected.
The food tasted fine overall, but when you compare what was served to the promotional photo (see attached), it felt underwhelming. I expected a hearty, filling breakfast – this wasn’t quite it.
Decent experience, but not what I hoped for from a place known for comfort food
Pictures: expectation vs reality.

Breakfast was amazing as usual super fast seating impeccable cleanliness inside plus outside, even the restrooms. The coffee was fresh the servers are all keepers they treat everyone like family which is so obvious because so many of their regulars give them hugs before we leave so for those who have given up on this generation just stop in to our Bob Evans and they will make you believers again because they are the most polite, hard working, courteous, polite and happy of any top dollar restaurants around. There is plenty of parking, seating, bathroom accessible spacious manoverability for those with or without a medical device or service animal friendly areas. There is a great kids and seniors menu too. There is something for everyone starting from the pickiest to the most allergenic eaters and the rest of us in between we recommend them to anyone

I understand why I never see many cars in this parking lot. 1st being greeted 7 different times by each individual staff member is a bit much. 2nd that was the only time the staff was friendly. 3rd the entire wait staff was behind the counter talking SO loudly my husband and I couldn’t even hold a conversation. I actually heard NO other guests talking, the entire restaurant was silent, I’m assuming because no one wanted to talk over the staff. Not only was the volume incredibly rude they were cursing and talking about their relationships, customers, and which other staff members they liked and didn’t like. There was also loud obnoxious singing and noise being made with a constant “did ya like that!?” Being asked after every sound/song being belted out of this individuals mouth. I understand having fun with your coworkers and making the job enjoyable, but that was just way too much as it lasted the entire time we were there.
All of the tables around us were rolling their eyes and shaking their heads the entire time too. Not sure who the manager was this shift, but they clearly were not managing the teenagers.

Our experience started off on a not-so-great start. My family of 5 sat down and we were not greeted until 5 minutes after we were seated. We were told by our server, Franco, that he would be right with us to get our drink order. Roughly 5 minutes after, Franco arrived and got our drink order. 10 minutes after receiving our drinks, we ordered. 2 of my kids ordered the French toast w/apple dippers, while my other child ordered the kids egg/pancake/bacon platter. My husband decided on the griddle breakfast sandwich and I decided on a build your own omelette (roughly $12) and substituted egg whites for an extra 50 cents. I asked for tomatoes, spinach, arugula, peppers, onions, chicken sausage, and feta cheese. After we ordered our food, we waited one hour for 2/3 of the kids meals to arrive. The rest of the food came to us a few minutes later, so my middle child had to sit while her siblings got to eat. During our meal, our server never offered refills. We had to ask multiple times for refills and syrup for the kids French toast. My omelet was TINY and not what I expected. There wasn’t hardly any spinach in it (this is sad because bob evans used to have the best spinach omelettes). It was served cold and, for the first time ever, I had feta cheese that was chewy. You can see in the picture, that the feta was discolored. Upon reading the bill, I could not believe that it was over $16 dollars for the most awful omelette I’ve ever had and couldn’t even eat. We won’t be back. Worst service, worst presentation, awful taste. . If you go here, I would recommend knowing exactly what you want and expect not to be given refills or be checked on. Your food will be cold. In the past our food has never been cooked correctly here, so make sure you have the time to wait an extra hour if they mess your order up the first time.
