I stopped by 24/7 Tacos in Garland and was seriously impressed! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. It felt more like visiting a friend’s kitchen than a typical taco spot.
The food came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. I tried the street tacos and they hit the spot. What really stood out was how reasonably priced everything was. Great portions for the price, which is getting harder to find these days.
Whether you’re craving something late at night or just want a good meal with good people, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be back!

Best al pastor tacos I can remember. First time here but we’ll definitely be back. Al pastor was great, also loved the red and green salsas as well as the sauteed jalapenos and onions. Note you need to hand your receipt to the restaurant side or they don’t know you’ve ordered.

Here is review from someone who has visited this place for 15 years or so.
Someone wrote a review about the quality and quantity. That is essential true. The food although still good, has decline and the quantity of meat is smaller.
I live in NY and visited this place in June, I believe the tacos were $2.99 each, mind you I remember the tacos were .99 cents. I saw a pic where the tacos were $2.19 about 3 years ago.
Today, I visited and noticed the price of the tacos was not listed on the panels, when I saw my receipt, $3.09. I believe the min wage in TX is $7.25? Unless you make more you will have to work at least half an hour to eat a taco here. That’s is a perspective to consider the price increase I have seen over the years for the tacos that have diminish in quantity and quality. Visit and make your own assessment about the food. Consider that just about every gas station sells tacos to satisfy different palates.

This Taco Stop has been a go to of mine for 20 years now… I don’t know if it’s a nostalgia issue or not but lately the food doesn’t seem as great as it once was. I can’t hold the fact the prices have more than doubled against them because inflation happens. But unless you visit at lunch hours the place feels like a cafeteria line and tastes a little drier too. Its still better than the other places down the street and the sauce is on point. Since it’s located in a gas station you can choose from a great variety of drinks to pair up with the food.
Just in case it’s necessary… this is not a sit down restaurant. There are two or three tables but don’t count on being able to sit and eat there.

I was so excited to try this restaurant, I had this delivered about two weeks ago, I ordered the shrimp tacos and guacamole and chips, it was so good, I feel in love with the guacamole (it does have cilantro). Tonight I reordered the same thing, again the tacos were delicious, but I was so disappointed in the guacamole, it definitely had been sitting, it was not as fresh as the last time.. I gave them a five because they are 24 hours and I love the shrimp tacos! I’ll eat here again, just make sure the guacamole is freshy fresh!

I ordered the taco plate and tamales with guacamole.
However, it came with no tamales, and the guacamole was not included with the tacos. Tacos were delicious. The lady at the store couldn’t speak much English and told me to call the next day. But I was at a hotel. I will have to make another trip up there. Really wanted to taste those tamales.

Some of the best street tacos around. Staff is easy to deal with and friendly. I got their carnitas which were juicy and delicious. I also got one barbacoa and it was just fantastic. Onions and cilantro were fresh and their sauces are sooo yummy!

I have been eating here for 20 years, so my review is as honest as it’s going to be. In the last year. They have got new workers and those workers are lazy and the food does not taste the same AT ALL. AS NOW THEY HAVE FANCY LABELS ON EVERYTHING.BUT THE SEASONING THAT MADE THIS PLACE SPECIAL IS GONE! the food is starting to taste like any other place you can go to , if not worse. Also, they used to be very friendly with their portions. And now, even if you pay for extra as I just did, they didn’t give me extra at all and I would know because it was chicken and beef..they only gave me 1. As a matter of fact, it’s the least amount I’ve ever had in my 20 years and it tastes bland. Im disappointed to say ill never eat here again nor would I recommend any froe ds again. This spot is not the same.

I purchased meals for delivery to 6 employees from 24/7 at 16110 Dallas Pkwy, 2 days in a row.
On the 1st day, employees complained of stomach pains after eating the food from 24/7 Tacos. On the 2nd day, after eating food from 24/7 Tacos, employees were suffering SEVERE STOMACH pain. Please be AWARE!!!
I called the 24/7 location at 16110 Dallas Pkwy twice, as I wanted to explain the situation to a manager. The individual who answered the phone did not speak English and hung up the phone on me, twice!! Very POOR customer service.
I have sent emails to the 24/7 corporate office, and to date, have not received a response.
If I could rate 24/7 Tacos “0” stars, I would.
Please be mindful when buying food from the 24/7 Tacos at 16110 Dallas Pkwy! The same can happen to you…FOOD POISONING!
