We came for dinner on the recommendation of a family member. We were greeted promptly by Grace asking if we had a reservation, unfortunately we did not have a reservation, but were still sat promptly anyway.
For starters we had the soup of the day Bacon potato, comfort in a bowl, full of flavor and an Italian Supreme salad loaded with toppings fresh and delicious.
For dinner we had the special of the evening chicken spiedini over a bed of risotto and the Lasagna. Both were scrumptious, you can tell the dishes are made with family traditional love. Shout out to our waitress Lori, super friendly and excellent service.
If you’re looking for a delicious Sicilian restaurant, I definitely recommend trying Trattoria Giuseppe.

My fiance and I were looking to try somewhere new in the area for dinner. We didn’t have anything specific in mind, so we decided to give Trattoria Giuseppe a try. When we pulled in, the parking lot was full, so we were expecting a wait. We went in to get a table at 6:40 and were asked if we had reservations (we didn’t know that was recommended here, whoopsies!). The hostess let us know that they didn’t have any available tables until 8:00. We were totally fine with that, as we were just wanting to try somewhere new. We were on our way out the door when the owner personally stopped us and got us a table. He took the time to shake our hands and ask our names. The food was phenomenal— you could taste the love in every bite. I cannot wait to tell everyone I know about this cute, family-owned restaurant!

We tried a different place for dinner , but should have listened to the bad reviews. An elderly lady sat us at a table & there we sat for 15 minutes with nobody coming to wait on us. Finally my wife had to go ask if someone was going to wait on us or should we just leave. We were then able to order. When the food came , it was ok , but not great. I guess some people had a better experience than we did. Needless say , we will never got back to Trattoria Giuseppe. If you go , I hope you have a better experience.

Came here from recommendations from a lot of other people & I’m glad I did. Amazing food, HUGE portions, friendly staff & owner. Lastly, it was priced very well. Very good value here. We will be back.

We would give this restaurant 10 stars. They helped our family out for a bereavement lunch and I cannot say enough nice things about the place. We didn’t have as many people show up that we thought would attend. The owner and his staff were fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The service absolutely awesome. The hospitality was some of the best. Thank you for a wonderful lunch

We went for our anniversary and the food was amazing, the portions were large enough that I got to enjoy my food again for lunch the next day. The owner was going around to each table to make sure everyone was enjoying their experience, very personable. I’m so glad we were recommended this place, we will be returning and spreading the word

4.5 out 5 stars. Located in Imperial, MO…. 21 min drive from I-44 & Rte-141. Ordered garlic cheese bread (awesome), filet mignon (perfect), Cajun seafood pasta (not enough seafood), and chicken piccata (too many capers). Portion sizes were great. Overall, worth the drive. Will try to go back if I’m in StL.

The service was great, we had a very nice, friendly and helpful girl. The salad very good. The portions were large however my penne pasta was overcooked, my friend ordered pork and it was overcooked (dry). They cooked her another but I could tell the chef was unhappy that she had criticized his cooking.

MUST TRY!!! Chicken Muddiga is so tender and delicious, I didn’t want it to end! Its a smaller restaurant so make reservations. Our waitress was very personable. And the owner comes around to every table to check on you and to shake your hand.

Overall I really enjoy this place. We always seem to get the grumpy waitress. But the food is pretty solid. My was amazing but my wife’s Chicken Parmesan was terrible. It was not fresh at all, most definitely frozen. The asparagus was soggy. Sauce was cold. Not sure what happened but I’d return to try it again.
