More of a filet of soul fan but the catfish was pretty decent. The shrimp had good flavor. My only gripe was next time I’ll be sure to tell em fried hardt please Me and hubby tossed it in the air fryer for a few and it was perfect. The chicken came crispy. The yams and greens were good. Going back for more. The Mac and cheese need some help. Good flavor but on the dry side. Def room for improvement. The customer service was alright. Service was quick. Hope this helps!

I ordered the Ox tails, greens and yams. My husband had the fried chicken mac and cheese and cabbage. The food was soooooo good we ended up sharing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the yams and fried chicken, those where my favorite. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered the “Generous Portion of shrimp” dinner. There were a lot of shrimp!! The potato salad was really good as was the cornbread muffin.
The red beans & rice were plain (there’s always something).
Service was nice and even nicer when she( counter person) smiled!!

I stopped by this place for lunch and had their 1 of their lunch specials hot wings, fries , and a drink. The staff was friendly and the food was great. The price was very fair. Will definitely be going back to try their catfish soon. Good job guys keep up the great work.

The food is fire! It’s worth the price! The shrimp are large and you get the a lot for the price. The cornbread muffins are the best. 10/10 I would recommend. You really get that childhood feel if you grew up with soul food.

It was ok for a fast food kinda place. Catfish had dirty taste, red snapper was pretty good. Mac and cheese was good, but different. Fried okra was ok also. Friendly people! Clean place to eat!

Have you ever paid $20.00 for a meal that’s smelling real good while driving home and you end up throwing the entire meal out? Well that’s what happened to me. When I got home the first thing I noticed was all the juice from the greens was at the bottom of the plastic bag. The styrofoam container that their greens was in had a hole at the bottom. Their extra crispy red snapper fish was terrible. It was fried so hard that all you tasted was fried cornmeal. That’s it, I’m done!!
