We recently visited the Plank Rd. location with a group of friends. We were able to make a reservation, which was extremely helpful and appreciated. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. We LOVE the crab dip appetizer and had it on this visit as well. We also ordered the chicken tenders meal with onion rings and the Steady Eddie sandwich with fries. The tenders were OK, not super flavorful but crispy. The onion rings were good. The French fries looked old and grease soaked, they were super thin and just pieces so we figured they were the last of a batch for the day. The sandwich was smothered with pimento cheese, making it very messy and not able to taste any of the other ingredients on the sandwich. We had a burger at the fredericksburg location with pimento cheese a couple months ago and that was served the same way. The pimento cheese is good, but it should compliment the other ingredients not drown everything else out. We ate about half of each, but left plenty full from the crab dip appetizer. We’ll go back, but will likely steer clear of the options with pimento cheese.

Went there last night and had the best experience. The food and drinks were delicious and our server Jess was absolutely fantastic! She was so warm and welcoming and recommended us the beignet desserts and they were delicious (you have to order them – you’ll thank me later)! Came around 5:30 seated almost immediately, food order went quick along with the food not taking long at all. We got the pickle chips, pretzel sticks with their queso, and some chicken tenders and fries, lastly the Texas rub chicken wings. I wanted some good wings for a while and well these hit the spot. Food came out very quickly. The only downside to this location is the noise level is really loud. It if you don’t care for chatting the food here has never disappointed me.

We walked in and fortunately, there was no wait time, so we were seated quite quickly. Our waitress was attentive at first but after taking our order, we mostly had other waitresses bringing stuff to us and taking stuff from us, refilling our drinks and giving us our food. Before we even got our food, we were grabbing the small plates that they bring to the table to eat our appetizer and there was a plate still drenched in ketchup and salt. Which of course leaves a bad taste in our mouth because nobody wants their food on dirty dishes. Our waitress didn’t even come by for awhile so we had to sit there waiting till we saw another random waitress walk by and tell her what happened. Overall, the food was room temperature, somewhat cold we felt. The bacon on the cheeseburgers were a little hard to even chew. The shrimp bites were a little soggy and probably would’ve tasted better on a stick by itself. The burgers were just plain burgers. All of the food was mid and I don’t know that it’s worth the money to go again. We tipped the waitress good tho anyways even tho she literally stopped waiting on our table (and we had no waitress for most of our meal). It’s kind of pricey. 9 dollars for ONLY 3 pretzel bites is crazy.

Harry’s Alehouse has some great burgers and the fries are so delicious. We have been back three times so far and each time it has been awesome. Last time we tried their steaks and WOW the cook knows what he is doing because they were great!! We will definitely keep coming back!! Today I had the chicken tenders with a side Caesar salad. So delicious!! We had the Shanghai shrimp appetizer and it was awesome!!

Was craving a burger and onion rings while visiting due to work . Decided to check this spot out as it’s not too far from the parents, and was soooo satisfied!!! Tried the seasonal brie and cranberry burger + onion rings + mad elf beer and ommggg was it amazing
Despite beginning handed a side of fries instead of onion rings, they quickly made it right( order the onion rings….trust me…batter is so good ) the mad elf beer was perfect as well. Highly recommend

My wife had the Animal Burger, and I had the Chili Nachos. The Animal Burger is supposed to have double mustard sear patties, but there was no discernible mustard flavor, nor any other sauce, until she added mustard from the table.
The best thing about the nachos was the sour cream. The chili had a sweet flavor, some of the chips were stale, and the cheese was only somewhat melted. We don’t plan to return.

Another place I heard about several times through social media but saw it often mentioned through best of the burg. Came for lunch 15 minutes after opening and several tables filled, so I assume all the reviews are spot on. Very trendy, clean atmosphere. Music playing in the background but low enough for conversation. Bartender very friendly and asked if I had any questions about the menu which is always helpful. They have a nice selection of draft beers – about 2 dozen; and even more in cans and bottles. I drank Vasen Radapils & 2 Silos Citralicious IPA. Ordered the reuben eggrolls for an appetizer, which were very good. Then had the Burger Royale cooked medium for lunch. Very flavorful, you can really taste like the Char-Broil flavor like it’s fresh off the grill. I believe the special sauce is mustard base, but don’t quote me on that. I like mustard so it was good but if you’re not a fan it might not be your jam. Definitely would come back and try other items, but burgers are definitely a specialty.
