A true gem! We stopped in during a four-hour drive and happened upon a buffet. It was a packed house, and we were lucky to get a table. The food never ran low, was replenished frequently, and always tasted fresh and fragrant.
I’m often inclined to skip restaurants attached to hotels and inns, and I’m glad we took a chance on Mint. The friendly and attentive staff made us feel very welcome, even in the middle of a buffet lunch rush. I recommend stopping in if you’re ever in the area!

Six of us enjoyed great meals at Mint, everyone thought the food was great!
We started with apps of vegetable sampler and onion pakora (great). We shared Bharta, Salmon Meen Moilee, Vegetable Korma (amazing sauce), Chicken chettinad, Palak Kofta and Palak Kofta. The food was extremely flavorful! The Naan breads and basamati rice was also very good. They offer a full bar as well. I highly recommend Mint.

The dinner I ate there was absolutely phenomenal. Indian food is a favorite of mine as a vegetarian and I’ve had a lot of Chana masala but this was the best I’ve had! So flavorful and not too spicy. Wish I lived in the area I’d order this all the time!

We are visiting from Austin and tried Mint for dinner. This place has excellent food at a great price! Chicken Korma was some of the best I’ve ever had and naan was cooked so well. Everything we ordered was very good. Staff made a lamb chop dish on accident and offered the huge platter to us at no charge simply because they didn’t want the food to go to waste! Great experience here at Mint. We will definitely be back and urge you to give it a try!

We so enjoyed Mint. We shared two chicken dishes – one a spinach saag and the other with a delicious cashew cream sauce. Both were superb. Portions are quite generous so arrive hungry! We sat out on the porch and watched the sunset on a beautiful Indian Summer evening.

Had a wonderful experience at MINT Indian Lakeside Dining and Bar in Lee. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The service was equally great: attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The lakeside setting makes the whole experience even better and adds such a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re in the area and looking for great food with top-notch service, MINT is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Great food, great service! We traveled to Lee from New Paltz, NY and dined at Mint before going to Nightwood at the Mount. OMG this place is spectacular — the food, the ambience, the service, everything! Best Indian food I’ve had in the region. The place is cozy and even romantic; we had a table with a perfect view of the lake as the snow fell. I ordered the chicken saag with garlic naan. Heaven! I’d happily drive the 1.5 hours just to have it again — and try everything else! (Now I wish I ordered another to-go plate, lol) We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and the staff surprised her with a special dessert (on the house) of pistachio ice cream with honey balls. Such a sweet gesture!! I’d give Mint 10 stars if I could for making the evening so special. Thank you, Mint! I have no doubt I will back with a carload of friends!! Please open a second restaurant in New Paltz — we need you!

Warm, beautiful ambiance!! From the moment you enter the table presentation and lighting made this evening feel special. Lamb Sagg was melting in your mouth and each of the four different chicken dishes sauces were delicious… not over or under spiced… perfect. Waiting staff was attentive, friendly and funny… perfect evening for our party of 5!
