They don’t include chips and salsa with your To go order. Most Mexican restaurants do. To add chips and salsa for your order, it’s $5! Hard pass. I will not be ordering from here anymore. Complementary chips and salsa with your order is pretty customary. But not here.
Also, the rice is absolutely disgusting. I included a picture. There’s no spices. No seasoning. Nothing. It just taste like weird yellow rice? Very bland. Rice 100% from a box from Sam’s Club or something like that. I threw it out.
Furthermore, why are my refried beans in acup???? Probably because it’s a small cup so they can give less product than putting it in an actual side dish container. Again with the nickel and diming! The refried beans were sour and tangy? Just disgusting. I can’t believe people like this subpar food.

Another amazing restaurant! I’m very very picky with Mexican food being from California where street tacos are $1, and you can eat them day and night.
The chips and salsa is a easy A+, just maybe a bigger basket would be nice because they’re so good! I had steak fajitas like usual. I must say. The best I’ve ever had. The onions and bells were nice and caramelized, homemade four tortillas (ask for 4 trust me), they even have Cokes from Mexico. You can’t get any better. Most the money we paid was a tip.
Service was A+ hostess was very nice. Even the kitchen staff. When my son started caughing, two ladies from the back (obvious mothers) came to make sure everyone is okay or if we needed help. This place is over and beyond.
Will definitely be back, hopefully every week, because that menu has everything.

Been coming to El Ranchito for about 4 years now. Mostly take out. Our favorite is the beef enchiladas, flavor, quality and consistency is always excellent. We love that we can make two meals out of one order. Love the family atmosphere and the family that owns it. Try it. Buena comida!

I really enjoyed our 1st El Ranchito experience. The service was wonderful, fast, helpful, and friendly. The owner was personable & engaging with customers. We had our authentic Mexican food to our table served hot & flavorful within 5 minutes. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the amount of food on each plate. Restaurant is cheerful & clean. Authentic, Amazing, Allstars!!! We normally go to the same place In Brooksville when we want Mexican. That place was closed tonight due to the hurricane, so we went here base on distance and reviews. We were not disappointed! Food, Atmosphere, and Service were all top notch! We found our new favorite spot, and would pick El Ranchito over our normal spot time and time again. Try them, you won’t regret it!!!

Would have given 3.5 stars is I could. The food was good, atmosphere is fine. Server was good. Ordered enchiladas and burritos, however when served there was no difference between the burritos and enchiladas. Same meat, sauce and filling, as you can see in the picture. Really no other complaints.
Edit: went back, again food was good. Ordered taco Tuesday special. 3 tacos 4.50$, I mean in this day that’s almost impossible. Good food again, good atmosphere. New crew training it looked like.

The Tester & food reviewer So you don’t have to
Sadly the food was nothing like I hoped for. I ordered the so called SUPER BURRITO! Well there was nothing super about it. Literally was a normal sized burrito filled with just meat (not Alot) of your selection but probably wouldn’t matter what meat you picked. Then smothered in a decent queso sauce and a half of handful of lettuce a few tomatoes and half a teaspoon of avocado which was old cause of the blackened look it had. All for $14 give or take. Way over priced that should have been $5-$6. The handful of chips I received with salsa was free and delicious. Their salsa is really good. Try it for yourself however be warned their prices are not matching food quality or equal in portion. I had to get food on the way home was starving. Lastly hope you like religious music cause thats all that was playing over and over.
