I would describe this place as a watered down mexican restaurant, the food looks good but just doesn’t have the taste
The burrito is all rice and beans, mind you I got the super burrito and it weighed less than a kids apple juice
The menudo tasted like it wasn’t washed properly, and the stew was bland with hot sauce added to cover the flavor
I dont mean to be stereotypical but this place is catered towards people who like the idea of mexican food but dont like the spices and the cost was almost 2 bills
Sad part was, I was really hungry

We recently ordered breakfast from a Mexican restaurant based on numerous positive reviews. Our experience with the Super Famoso Burrito with Carne Asada was highly satisfactory. It was not only delectable and substantial but also generously portioned, suitable for sharing between two individuals. The nachos exceeded our expectations in both size and taste. Although we were delighted with our order overall and inclined to give it a top rating, the chips provided were disappointingly soggy rather than crisp. Additionally, the To Go Salsa we ordered to accompany the chips seemed superfluous as we could not utilize it due to the unsatisfactory state of the chips.

I had machaca and Mexican hot chocolate, both really great! And although the machaca what a little bit long and coming, I was brought an extra basket of tortilla chips. Haven’t been here for a long time, but I am not disappointed.

This is a hidden gem in Hayward California. The food is excellent and I highly recommend taking a trip. Found this place using DoorDash and decided to check it out for myself. The staff is friendly and the portions are big enough to share for two. The dining area is quite small but they do have outside seating.

La Pinata In Hayward Is probably the best Authentic Mexican food your gonna find In the bay area. I have been eating here for over 10 years and the food Is always delicious regardless of what day It is. Consistency of speed, good service and the taste of the food Is what always brings me back. The food has excellent flavors, the prices are fair and the service is phenomenal here. La Pinata has such a large selection of food to choose from on the menu. I usually order the super wet burrito or the Taco trio. Once you order your food it feels like you get your food immediately after and speed is a big plus for me. Come eat at La Pinata you will like it!
