Food is so excellent here. Every dish has a good amount of flavor and this is a favorite place of ours. I have to give a shout out to my man David though, this guy has the absolute best attitude I’ve ever experienced from a server! It’s not just lip service either, my drinks never empty, my food is always hot, and David ensures we have a great experience every time. We ask for him anytime we come in! Other people are great too, very quick service, David’s just our favorite!

Ted’s Montana Grill has been one of my go-to restaurants for years, and this location continues to deliver a great experience. The restaurant is always clean, the service is friendly and fast, and the food has consistently been excellent.
If you’ve never tried bison before, I highly recommend choosing bison over beef here. They even offer an option with two mini burgers, one bison and one beef, if you want to try both. That said, the bison burgers are truly top-notch and definitely my favorite. I also love the little pickles they serve alongside the food. Everything is always fresh and delicious.
It is a bit pricier than your typical burger place, but the quality of the food absolutely makes it worth it. I always enjoy eating here.

Can to this place by chance, we had a layover fight. We had not eaten since 8am got here at almost closing. The food was great. We had the meatloaf. Mind you I get photos most times. But we had two beers and starving. Sorry no pics this time. But if you do think about this place it was good. They have a few locations lookem up!

My parents flew in for a visit during my dad’s birthday on January 8th. He saw the good reviews and suggested we did his birthday dinner here.
First, let me say we sat at a large round table that I loved, so we could all talk to each other and no one was left out. Unfortunately, the table was in the front corner of the restaurant and you could see the floors along the wall and baseboards were absolutely filthy. Like lines of gray/brown muck along the edges of the flooring where end of the night sweeping and mopping had built up. I worked in restaurants years ago but we would definitely schedule routine deep cleanings to prevent this from happening.
Second, the food was just not good. I had been here maybe five years ago and my meal was great, but I think this is one of the instances where it just depends who is on the grill that night. My mom and I ordered our steaks medium and medium rare. They definitely came out medium well on both. Very little pink. The shrimp appetizer was overly salted and the bread was saturated with the lemon sauce. It’s easy to manage when things are under seasoned, as you can just add some salt or pepper on your own but there is no recovering when things are overdone. We all just drank extra water.
Which brings us to the last point, the service. Our server was lovely but definitely overwhelmed. It was only her, another server, and a bartender on the floor. We walked to the bar twice to get drink refills bc our server wasn’t available.
I try not to be such a hater when leaving reviews but bc this was for my dad’s birthday I felt pretty terrible. It was embarrassing to bring him somewhere with such great ratings and have such a poor experience. It happened the last time they came out at guard and grace downtown. It’s become a long standing joke now that Colorado has terrible food and restaurants and it is hard to defend when stuff like this happens.

My husband took me last night for Valentine’s Day and it was a horrible experience. I ordered the bison short ribs with mashed potato’s and carrots. 20 mins in to the order our server came out and informed us that the mashed potato’s were running late and it would be another 10 min and asked if we wanted to wait. I said that I would wait for them with my meal. He looked to my husband and asked him if wanted to wait as well ( he had a steak and baked potato) he told the server he’d wait with me. 10-15 min later our food arrives and there’s no mashed potato’s on my plate. He explained that they still weren’t ready. I gave him my food back and asked why he would bring me my food without the mashed potato’s when I told him I would wait. I’m not going to eat my meal and then eat a bowl of mashed potato’s later. He took my plate back. My husband kept his food and tried to wait for my food to come back. His food got cold and I insisted that he eat without me. A kitchen manager came out and apologized that the mashed potato’s didn’t come out with my food. 20 mins later… still no food, haven’t had drink refills and my husband had to go back to the kitchen and find a manager. Savanna the manager came out and apologized and offered to comp the food for the night but still didn’t give me a reason why I didn’t get my food back. The only offer was that our whole order would be comped. Valentines dinner and I left without eating a meal. I had a glass of wine and their cucumber app. Horrible customer service. She should have come out and completely said they were either out of that side or could have offered something different to replace with my meal but instead offered us to walk away without paying. I have never experienced something like this and it truly was disappointing.

Amazing steak, quite salty but I loved it like that. Cooked perfectly! They had a chef special – brussels – as a side, that was good. Decent service, although she didn’t ask if we wanted dessert (I did, but she brought the check so we just left). Yummy crunchy ice too. Great date night!

Ordered the Balsamic Blue Steak Salad medium rare to go tonight because its usually amazing, received rare steak on a soggy bed of iceberg with two slices of tomato that belong on a burger. No cucumbers, very few onion strings and almost no blue cheese. Absolutely unacceptable for a $26 salad. This location has gone downhill.

We like very much coming here. Great food, staff is awesome and have skilled chefs making consistent food time and time again. Could you bring back the Brussel Sprouts sautéed in balsamic vinegar? Not sauce on the side. Not the same flavor we all love. Thanks!

I don’t usually write reviews, but David absolutely deserved one. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel like we weren’t just customers—he treated us like family. He was warm, personal, and genuinely connected with everyone at the table. You could tell he really cared about making sure we had the best experience possible.
David checked in at the perfect times, remembered little details we mentioned, and made the whole meal feel relaxed and comfortable. His energy was positive, friendly, and completely authentic. It’s rare to find a server who can be both professional and personal at the same time, but he nailed it.
If every restaurant had a “David,” eating out would always feel special. He did really fantastic, and we left feeling taken care of in the best way. Highly recommend asking for him—you won’t be disappointed.

Love the munchies ( two sliders ) and the loaded baked potato has tons of toppings. Update: I recently tried the chili and wow it’s that good. Nice spice without numbing the taste buds….go for it you can only enjoy:). Recommend to get the added toppings for extra yum.
