Whenever I visit Albany this is a MUST VISIT for the snapper half portion fish and chips and the iconic oysters. This time not only did I get awesome food but I also one the draw for a fishing shirt and bucket hat.

First time coming here to try fish and chips. Ordered fish and chips with salad on the side. The fish was very fresh. The fish fillet was delicious, thin, not oily, and crispy on the outside. The fish didn’t have any smell. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try Albany’s fresh fish and chips.

I enjoyed the fish tacos. I would love to come back and try their seafood platter or some other items. They get a lot of their stuff really fresh and locally. And have all sorts of interesting artisan products you can buy. The interior design is very pleasing and the staff are pretty laid back and chill.

Fresh, light, well seasoned, the meal was fantastic. Whilst all the food was delicious, the highlight were the natural oysters, plump and sweet!
As a bonus, there is also a great gelato selection for dessert!
Staff were friendly and service was fast.

It is the best fish and chips in all Albany. Been coming back and forth to Albany for few years now and they are very consistent with flavours good service friendly ambiance. I recommend this as my number one choice, have tried all fish and chips around Albany and if it’s a contest this shop wins my ❤️.

We go to hooked quite regularly, everytime my family is down from out of town they always make a point of going to hooked as it is delicious.
This is hands down the most consistent restaurant that I have been to anywhere.
The fish, seafood and chips are always cooked absolutely perfect and would be the best fish and chips in the country ( Hence the awards ).
The staff are always extremely accomodating, helpful and happy which is great to see in this day and age.
I highly recommend Hooked to anyone curious about trying it as you will not be disappointed!

I ordered the king George whiting and paid extra to have it crumbed. At first I nearly choked at the price for 3 king George 6 battered oysters and chips takeaway but thank you to the cooks it was all local and we literally couldn’t finish it all. Beautifully cooked and the staff were very friendly.
