Reviews
I had 5 hours layover in Geneva and decided to visit the city. You can take train from airport to reach city in 5 mins or bus in 25 mins.
The restaurant is located next to train station and just 10 mins walk from Lake. Ambiance is good and owner is nice (Pushkin Mahajan). Originally from Amritsar, he started restaurant 3 years back and living in Geneva for 21 years.
Here is my food list:
– Onion Bhaji ****
– Paneer masala *****
– Garlic naan *****
– Butter roti ****
– Tea *****
It costed me CHF 57 and portion size is good for one person. Staff is nice and service is very quick. There is indoor and outdoor space.
The place is accessible and facilities are nice.
Dal Makhni and Pav Bhaji were authentic which is very difficult to find in France (I live in France).
The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
At first, the staff here were a bit hesitant for the same reason, but once we explained our situation, they were very understanding and let us order 2 entrees and 2 appetizers to share (for 2 adults and 2 kids). The food turned out good, and the service was friendly and accommodating.
It was a really nice way to end our trip, definitely appreciated their flexibility and kindness.
Also the quantity was enough for us.
Overall a very nice experience.
