My food was old. Old chicken and strawberry creame pies. Even my fountain drink. My grandsons boneless wings were undercooked. I wasn’t given a receipt. I don’t live in Blue Island so who want to take a drive back. They need to shut this place down. Because I just came from the dentist and I was starving I wolfed it down.

I visited this location on 119th and western frequented and never had a problem. But tonight, 1/27/26 at 9:27pm I experienced the worst customer service by Tina. While speaking with Tina, I shared that I had two orders and that the lobby was closed. I asked if it was ok to order both at that the drive thru. Tina rudely(Tone & yelled) stated that it was closed for a reason.
I attempted order my food, but they had run out of legs so she wanted to give me all thighs. I asked her not to do that, and to possibly do wings since it wasn’t the customers fault that they were out of certain foods. Tina became louder, rude, and talked down about the situation. I asked her not to be rude and to use friendly customer service. Tina refused to take my order because I asked her not to be rude. She stated that she was the Manager, and that her dad was the owner. She statement was her justification for why she misbehaved.
Tina shouldn’t be allowed to be the face of the the 119th eastern Popeyes location, nor should she interact with customers. When I asked question she threatened to call the police. She is rude, very ignorant, and gave the perception that she is very inexperienced with dealing proactively with the public. By all means if u can drive to the 115th and Halsted Popeyes, I would. I got better service there.

If I could give zero star I would. Before the pandemic this location was the best. I visited this location today and I have to say I received the worst service and food ever. I have received terrible food from this location for quite sometime now. I usually just throw it away but today I had to return it. I had a leg pc of what look to be days old they replaced it but the manager didn’t see an issue he gave me a new leg but left the old leg in there that I complained about as if I’m a dog. I also order tenders they were undercooked and falling apart , the fries were very soggy and the red beans were salty as if they added salt to cover up spoilage. I’m disgusted I will never return this location is not good and all of the staff is rude and pushy

Popeyes Chicken and it was fantastic. The fried chicken, with its unique blend of spices, was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, making it stand out from other fried chicken I’ve tried. The sides, especially the creamy mashed potatoes and buttery biscuits, complemented the meal perfectly. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant’s cleanliness was impressive. Overall, Popeyes Chicken provided not just a delicious meal but a delightful dining experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and flavorful feast.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I made a mistake and ordered from this location through Door Dash (I live near a really good one in Chicago, and I didn’t notice this one was 6 miles away). The chicken arrived undercooked, a bit raw inside and the skin’s crust still doughy – so you know it wasn’t fried long enough. You can tell it wasn’t seasoned either. The mashed potatoes looked disgusting through the lid, like old KFC potatoes. No veggies and meat in the heavy like I’m used to from Popeye’s. The mac and cheese looked terrible as well. The only thing edible was the apple pie, and it still was 3 stars (barely any pie filling). Door Dash sent me a redelivery, and I hate I waited a second too late because I would have much rather gotten a refund. Sure enough, there was nothing different with the second delivery. I reported it again and got a full refund.
I then called the location to alert them because this is a health hazard. All they kept assuring me of was that the order was fresh. That is not the point! It is not cooked long enough!!! You can’t sell people undercooked poultry. In the end, all the manager said was that she’d let the 4 PM manager know about it. ♀️ They do not care. This was the worst Popeye’s I’ve ever patronized, and I’ve been to locations all over the country and world. If you care about your health, do not eat here!

Chicken wings must be from 2020. Old, dry and flavorless. Fries from 2021. Old, soggy and disappointing. They swapped the fries but it’s whatever now. People should just eat at home because this place does Popeyes bogus. Sad. Love that Chicken from -not this Popeyes

Something is wrong with this location. The food is not Popeyes food. It’s chicken strips, but not Popeyes chicken strips. They have fries, but not Popeyes Cajun fries. None of this is Popeyes issue stuff. Taste and appearance are so different that it literally cannot be the same product. I don’t mean that they’ve done a bad job. I don’t mean that my food wasn’t how I like it. I mean that the chicken, fries, cutlery, napkins, straws, and possibly cups but unsure on that … are all not following franchise standards, and are probably sourced elsewhere. It’s like they’re buying Tyson chicken tenders at the grocery store or something.
Store is also not well maintained. Counter is broken, equipment is visibly degraded. Employees are nice enough, but that doesn’t fix management being cheap and scamming in imitation food.

I had hair on my boneless wings, the sauce was cold on warm chicken so that made the chicken room temperature. The chicken tasted like old grease and it was very hard. I am disappointed.I should have read the reviews before going to this Popeyes.

I went to this location today on January 12, 2026. The chicken was cold, old, and the
taste was awful. I would never go back to

The quality of their food has gone in the trash. It’s always a problem with the chicken, either doesn’t taste like chicken or it’s under or over cooked
