Tried dinner here, chicken gyro and a Chicago dog. The fries were good was the highlight. Took one bite of gyro and was not well made. Took much sauce and seasoning. Was liquidy and messy. The dog I ate but the tomatoes were horrible, the rest was edible. No where to sit, no flow to the restaurant w guests everywhere. I should have passed. I like ketchup on my dogs too, don’t judge!

Whoever said “fast, cheap, and good, you can’t have all three” clearly hasn’t been to Gold Coast Dogs. When your family of seven is exhausted and hungry and you find a gem like this, you have to tell the world.
The Chicago Dog… I mean, it’s Chicago…you just have to! It’s a dream in your mouth
The Philly… why would you expect to get a freshly grilled to order just for you fast and cheap and also delicious Philly in an airport? You wouldn’t because that just doesn’t happen. Until Gold Coast Dogs.
The Gyro… why would you expect to have a huge delicious gyro freshly sliced and seared just for you in a hot dog stand that also makes great Philly’s? You wouldn’t, until Gold Coast Dogs.
To the reviewer who said the staff was rude, get over it. These guys work their tails off all day cranking out stellar sandwiches for cranky travelers. They aren’t there to be your friend; they mean business.
I shall not fear to fly O’hare for I know that Gold Coast Dogs is there!

I was craving a Chicago hot dog and luckily I found a place at the O’Hare. (Terminal 3 near Gate L4.)

It was charbroiled but a bit messy to eat. Unfortunately, the toppings were only sub par with a whole sliced tomato on top. I’ve had better…

I saw a few people getting the Shawarma, I wish I would have gotten that instead. I would go back and get that dish for sure. See y’all next time for a better review!

Never had a real “Chicago Dog” before. Clearly by the sign they take this very seriously…Great dog, they were cool explaining when I asked and ordered. I know it’s the Airport and I was rolling dice before the next flight…but thankfully no issues, and a check mark in the box ✔️ Thanks Chi Town…til next time ✌️

A great place to grab a Chicago Dog if you’re at O’Hare.

We needed breakfast as we had been traveling all morning and still had about 4 hours of travel ahead of us. We had a 1 hour layover at O’Hare.

Disclaimer: I love Chicago Dogs, they are the best way to have a hot dog so I’m extremely biased.

Still was a good dog. It fell apart as I ate it which I think was due to how they stuffed the bun, but it was still delicious. The fries were good too. My wife’s cheese dog was decent but nothing special. As she described “it did not spark joy”.

I wouldn’t eat anywhere else myself as when I’m in Chicago, I want a Chicago dog.

Service was fine. Was very expensive. Your mileage may vary.

The vegan burger option is very good. Fresh and quality. They even have chipotle sauce. If you like them instead of mustard or ketchup.

This might actually be the worst food I’ve ever had. Got a simple chicago dog and they just piled everything on top to where all it was touching was the old rubbery hot dog so when I opened up the wrapper all the toppings were just pooled at the bottom of the wrapper. Plus the relish has so much green food coloring and all the toppings are so watery that it actually dyed my hands and of course my clothes were totally stained. Simply opening the wrapper sent liquid splattering. I did taste the hot dog as well and it was just gross

I simply asked if the restaurant was still open, and instead of politely responding, one of the staff members waved many times with his finger aggressively, motioning me away like I was an animal. There was absolutely no need for that kind of rude and disrespectful behavior. A simple “Sorry, we’re closed” would have been more than enough. This was definitely not the kind of treatment any traveler should experience, and I will never come back here again.

I love their jumbo chardog. The char cooking creates a nice, impressive outside crunch. I wish all Chicago hotdogs were this jumbo size and chargrilled. I often stand in a short line. They have great toppings, a quality dog, and poppyseed bun. Their nice, medium width fries are a large portion. I do not order sport peppers. I wish to have this again soon. Thank you for making a quality Chicago hotdog. I enjoy a small portion of ketchup. I wish they would change the setting on Google Maps, so the system did not display “permanently closed.” Also, I wish these were available everywhere. I appreciate and am inspired by the fresh topping. ✨
