We offer traditional meats such as pulled pork, brisket ribs, & chicken, but also offer other meats such as sliced pork, turkey, and wings. Not a local, just driving through Georgia. This place was a perfect lunch pitstop. Very tasty brisket and pulled pork. German chocolate cake was nice. Very friendly service, and very fast. Astonishingly reasonable prices. Very cozy small-town humble accommodations kind of place. I’d come back.

Went in to enjoy lunch, but the $18 brisket platter did not please. Brisket was completely dry and the watery sauce could not help it. Texas toast was gross and cold barely toasted and the collards were spicy hot so they lost all flavor. Tater tots were good, all 5 of them. Been there twice, not again.

Saw all the cars in the parking lot and had to stop and try it. Everything was delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Had the fried jalapeños and fried mac and cheese as sides, and they were tasty. An extra nice touch they had bones for your dogs.

We absolutely loved visiting this little barbecue place! The servers are absolutely nice and on top of things. The place was packed when we visited. Absolutely enjoyed our ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Even the hot dog that my Son got looked good. Their sauce is also good and so is the hot. I liked their house sauce better. I recommend stopping by here and checking them out.

A BBQ restaurant that is inches away from being really good.

Place was packed at lunch time, always a good sign. About a ten minute wait for us to get a table.

Brisket – The real test of any barbecue restaurant is how well they prepare their brisket. This one was dry. It did not pull apart into the ‘honeycomb’ that you like to see, nor did it sag over your finger into a U. Bark was nice and black, but did not have the salt & pepper taste you expect. Smoke Ring was excellent though.

Collard Greens – on the Specials menu. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, without being too soft. Highly recommended.

Pulled Pork Sandwich – a rather bland meat here. Bun was good, but pork was way under-seasoned. You are certainly going to want to sauce this one up.

Mac and Cheese – homemade, with a great caramelized cheese crust. Not too much flavor, really needed some celery seed to give that classic BBQ M&C taste.

Chicken Wings – juicy, crunchy skin and great color, but again, no seasoning at all. Have you ever had to salt and pepper wings in your life?

Fries – good, similar to those “twice fried” fries at that other restaurant.

Pulled Chicken Sandwich – dry, my grandma hated it. Really needed some seasoning and a few pickle slices.

BBQ Sauce – ‘open pit’ style, so you probably can’t complain.

Toast – just toast, no garlic like a Texas Toast normally is served.

Even though the place was packed, service was absolutely stellar.

Don’t miss the Bowl of take home Dog Bones on your way out.

If you are imagining BBQ like Franklin’s, Black’s or Slows, Wolf Creek is not that… but it seems like with some careful seasoning, they could kick this place into a way higher league.

Great value for the food, and fast service after ordering. Server forgot we ordered a Coca Cola, although this was quickly addressed with a gentle reminder. My fave sauce at the table was the spicy bbq — not spicy (as in hot, at least) but very tasty with my order of wings.

Stopped to try a new BBQ place and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered the brisket and turkey breast. The brisket was tender with a smokey flavor. The hit was the turkey breast, juicy, and flavorful and a wonderful surprise not always something you find on a bbq menu and so glad I tried it. My wife got the chopped chicken and thought it was amazing. The sauce was pretty decent more vinegar based but the hot flavor was a good compliment to the meats. Also came with maca nd cheese that was good but the side winner the potato salad. Definitely made from scratch and so tasty. Will definitely stop here again and this time try a dessert.

First timers. Food and service was awesome. The pulled chicken was moist. The tater tots were different but delicious. I personally wasn’t a fan of the Cowboy beans but that’s a preference thing not their quality type of issue.
