Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand. The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome. We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Deliciously uncomplicated tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

First time visiting. I had the steak Fajita tacos, my wife had the chicken Fajita tacos. We also ordered the tres grande and the beans and rice. The tacos were spot on. The tres grande was good. The salsa and the guac are awesome. Cilantro lime rice was perfect. Black beans were favorable, slightly salty for my taste.

I tried their chicken truffle taco. For the price that I was charged, I think it was totally unreasonable. The picture on the wall shows a very thick & meaty taco with truffle sauce. I received a very dry taco with hardly any meat and it was nearly $10 for thst one taco with no drink. So, I’m not sure what everybody else is saying that is so good about this location. I think they could do better on pricing and portion. Making sure that the food that we’re given matches what you have pictured on the wall would be great as well. It would also be nice if the person who is actually giving out the orders can speak English so that when she calls out names for pick up, she knows who she’s calling. I had to help her with that.

Called to see if they served breakfast all day. They picked up quickly and answered my questions. Took my lady with me to go get breakfast burritos. Staff was kind, drinks were good, food was even better. Will be coming back.

I recently visited Rusty Taco in Denton and had a disappointing experience. The cashier didn’t greet me or make any effort to be friendly—in fact, he looked annoyed to be serving me, which made the whole interaction feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I ordered the fish taco and one of their limited-time specials. The food was fresh and tasted great, but the portions were small for the price. Between the lack of customer service and the cost, I don’t think I’d dine in here again.

Really quick service even going on day of the dead when it was packed! Great selection of tacos and the nachos are a big portion! Also if you like sitting outside but don’t like the cooler weather..their heaters outside work amazing! I will definitely will be stopping in more often!
