The price that was paid for food they under impressed. The brisket and burnt ends was more fat then actual meat. The sides potato salad and BBQ baked beans lacked flavor this is a lesson learned. I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery. I should have returned the very small portions given.

I ordered the three meat, two side meal. I ordered the smoked turkey that had no smoke to it. The brisket that was dry and tough, ribs that were only two bones and you had to pay $5.75 extra. the sides were crispy french fries that were soggy and the collard greens that had no flavor at all. Actually they tasted like spinach and raw onions and served in a sauce size container. In addition i ordered an extra dry rib ribs for $5.75 with bourbon sauce on the side and baked beans that had raw onion and green peppers and floating. Athena only good thing was the hush puppies. I ordered through Uber Eats and placed a complaint through them and called Red, Hot and Blue and was hung up on them told I needed to call back and ask for Brian. When I called back Brian each time was not there and I was told I had to go through Uber Eats because they are the ones You pay. REALLY??? I would not recommend this place ever again. Go to Mission BBQ you get your moneys worth. Oh yeah I also ordered the peach cobbler and the 1/4 of chicken smoked and again was not smoked. What a waste of over $60.

Neighborhood spot.
Food was decent. Like 3.9
Not the best, but good enough to go back if someone suggested it. Mac and cheese was mediocre. The collard greens were flavorless. Wouldn’t get that again
Catfish fries were ok. Could use some more flavor. Ribs were cooked well. I enjoyed those, as well as the wings. Those were cooked good. The sauces, I had almost every one of them. The best was double trouble. Not overly spicy.
Service was good. No complaints. & there is more parking behind the building

Great food, options, and a classic atmosphere. We grabbed ribs and some meat platters. Everything was great but I was partial to the chicken quarter and my son loved the pork bbq. Our waiter was amazing and very informative of all the sauces and combos available. Would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

With a cool “Musical Blues Theme” and some very good Memphis BBQ ~ this home grown joint is family run. With a good menu and delicious food for a good price. Definately worth if your in Laurel, MD

Red Hot and Blue catered my wife’s memorial service on 24-Jan-26 at North Laurel Community Center. They arrived on time and quickly set up. The food and service were excellent. Many thanks to Alex (manager) and Maria (server). Would highly recommend for any future catering events.

Came pass here one Friday and decided to make a trip of it on Saturday. I was not disappointed. Though I was told it wasn’t great. I beg to differ. Not only was the food great the service was unmatched. The drinks strong! Oh did I mention how strong the drinks were! One was truly enough at least for me! The catfish was pretty amazing. I don’t know how they did it but my husband loved the catfish. That in itself was an achievement. Ribs were good macaroni surprisingly good. Didn’t expect so honestly. Greens tasted canned but still good. I also got to try the smoked turkey. Will definitely make another day of this with the family!

Went here on a Saturday night for dinner. I heard good things from a coworker and decided I needed some smoked/bbq’d meat in my life. 🙂
Overall, I had a very good experience, the crowd was mixed and people streamed in constantly for to-go orders.
We got, Catfish fingers, Burnt Ends, Ribs, Wings, Hush Puppies, Collards and Baked Beans. We also tried the RHB, Bourbon Molasses, Double Trouble and the Sweet Red Thai Chili rub and sauces.
I mostly enjoyed the ribs and brisket burnt ends even though they both were a little fat heavy. While the meat itself didn’t appear to be too seasoned, the sauces and rub were on point (especially the Bourbon Molasses) and added the necessary punch of flavor.
I would definitely comeback to enjoy the Ribs and burnt ends again and maybe try a few more things from the menu.

We used to eat here quite regularly but moved away. We were in the are and decided to try it out again. It was very disappointing. The inside has not been updated in 15+ years. Our food came quickly but barely saw our server after. The food was rather bland and dry. The potato salad and hush puppies were good. We will not be returning since other local BBQ places are much better.

Red Hot & Blue is a BBQ restaurant located in Laurel, MD, known for its Southern-style barbecue and blues music theme. The menu features a variety of smoked meats, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, as well as classic Southern sides like coleslaw, baked beans, and cornbread. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, often with blues music playing in the background, creating an authentic Southern dining experience.
My experience: The food was okay, I will not recommend Burnt Ends( it’s 99% fat). Overall the place doesn’t look like a clean place ( smell, and old, really old tablecloths) . I gave stars only because there was a very nice guy ( server ) Brian. They definitely need some improvement for sure. First, maybe start by changing the tablecloths…. I will not recommend this place, there are a lot of other meat places .
