Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Gloria was truly exceptional at customer service during my visit to Whataburger. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with such a warm and genuine smile that it immediately made me feel welcome. She was patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct and that I had everything I needed.
What really stood out was her positive attitude. Even if it was busy, she handled everything with grace and professionalism. She treated every customer with kindness and respect, and you could tell she genuinely cared about providing a great experience. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work.
Because of Gloria, my visit wasn’t just about getting food, it was about feeling valued as a customer. She is a true asset to Whataburger, and I hope her hard work and dedication are recognized.
I haven’t been to Whataburger since I was a little girl. I was born in Tallahassee, so coming back brought back so many memories for me. Walking in after all these years felt nostalgic and special. Gloria made the experience even more meaningful with her amazing customer service. She was warm, kind, and made me feel truly welcome. Because of her, it felt like I was back home again. This Whataburger is one of the best ones I have been to but I would like to shout a employee that works there her name is Gloria and as soon as I walked in she made sure our order was taken cared and very friendly with a great smile if I could have someone like Gloria work in my establishment I would without a doubt accept them graciously someone give this lady a raise ASAP. Thank you Gloria and Whataburger for makingthis Whataburger my go to.

Today was my first time ever eating at whataburger. Never again. Ordered a cheeseburger meal. Received a burger with no cheese. Told them about it, they actually said “would you like a slice of cheese” the burger was cold, had no ketchup no mayo and was super thin, dry as the desert. Had to ask for mayo, ketchup and utensils so I could finish making my burger in the car. And the fries were cold. Never again.

This is what I received after asking for my egg to be cooked light. Every time I ask for this service (my egg cooked lught), this is what I get. At this point, I feel like the cook is doing this on purpose….attitudes.

This place has the worse service. As mentioned in many other reviews, the food was cold! The cheese wasn’t even melted. The burger was so sloppy and with way too much mustard. Cheap mustard. We had 4 different orders and they were all disgusting. One of us asked for no tomatoes, however, every burger had tomatoes.

My experience today here was phenomenal. I’ve always liked the food at Whataburger and the atmosphere is usually pretty good because people are always happy behind the counter. The workers are usually so busy that they cannot be too cordial, however, today was a different situation. The manager Etsee (wrong spelling)was extremely helpful when I needed something out of the ordinary. She went above and beyond her duties as a manager and helped me with a smile. Please give her a raise (HR), she deserves it!
A worker named Jeremiah heard that I needed help when I was speaking to the manager. Then he stepped up without any hesitation. He said,said “I’ll help him.” That he did …God bless him. Also, there was an employee at the very end of my stay that just happened to pop up and say ” Hey, would you like (this) and it just happened to be what I needed. It was amazing. She is Ayona. And I must say she didn’t know I was a seven star Google reviewer and yet she still also happily helped me. They all did this with a smile. I would recommend this restaurant on Lake Bradford Road in Tallahassee to my family. I would recommend it to my friends as well as the general public reading this. Stop down there and maybe not on the lunch rush but, in the late afternoon or early evening and just hang out and watch these guys do their work with a smile. It is refreshing to see good people enjoy wst they do now-a-days.
By the way, as an ex third shift manager, I realized that these guys were doing their side work and I didn’t hear once that the manager had to ask them to do it. I just noticed it. Great job all the way around. Kudos. I rarely give five stars all the way around. These people and the establishment deserve it.
