First time eating here. A group of us stopped in after work and I had never been. I ordered the chicken street tacos (plain) due to allergies and not liking what came on them, as well as no cheese on the refried beans (allergy.) So not sure if the blandness of my whole meal was from that, or more of lacking spices, but there wasn’t really any flavor at all to any of it. It was edible, but nothing to write home about. Salsa for the chips was too spicy for me.

Worst service ever, that’s too sad cause we were legit excited to rest here. Once we got our food we didn’t once get asked if we needed anything, no refills to our soda or anything. We waited a bit more so we could order dessert cause we figured maybe they were short staffed and the place wasn’t that busy, 40m later we had no service we had to get up and ask the hostess to give us our bill. We then see our waiter just talking it out with the hostess. What a joke Oh and I left a review on their Facebook page and they deleted it , shows the type of people they are.

On Monday, December 23, 2024, my wife and our two children (7 years old and 4 years old) ate at Vaqueros for lunch. My wife works across the street and has ordered food from this establishment before but it was my first time. I appreciated how the bussing crew worked hard to set our table when we walked in. By the time we were directed to our seats, not only were menus and silverware already set but they had child-proof drinkware already waiting for my kids. The restaurant’s interior is spacious, clean, and welcoming.
Chips were waiting for us when we sat down and they provide you with a hot salsa and a mild salsa. There is a lunch menu and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the two enchilada combo which was $14.95. My kids each ordered the child’s taco and our server accommodated our substitution request for French fries instead of rice and beans. My wife got the taquitos. How did it all taste? Well, about how it is supposed to. In my humble opinion, nothing really made the food at Vaqueros stand out. It tasted like your average family Mexican restaurant fare—which isn’t a bad thing, it just wasn’t exceptional or memorable. If you are nearby and want decent, reliable Mexican food, Vaqueros isn’t a bad choice.

Arrived after a Movie for Dinner with a friend. We were given Chips and Salsa as soon as we sat down and since we both knew what we wanted were able to order within 5 minutes of being seated.
Our food arrived within 5 minutes. We ordered a large combo Chimichanga and a side order of rice and beans for my friend. The food arrived hot and was delish. Plates were cleared as soon as we finished and the check was also brought quickly. We stayed and chatted for a bit after our meal before leaving. The only downside was the table and chairs slid easily and could make it difficult for someone with a cane like myself. Definitely would recommend and a bit cheaper than the place on Sprague by Walkers furniture.

Food was excellent, we have the Vaqueros Nachos, Fiesta Taco Salad, and the Chicken Chipotle.
Service was attentive and courteous.
The place has a great atmosphere.

We had amazing food and the best server! Marco called and asked about gluten free he was very knowledgeable letting us know that they use cornstarch instead of flour. He was also our server and was beyond wonderful. He had great menu recommendations ( flautas with a side of consume) food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Great quality and friendly servers.
