We’re bringin’ Mama Vibes to the East Side! After being the ‘life-of-the-party’ in downtown CBD for the last six years, Mama’s ready to kick-start another exciting new venture in the wild, wild East! And where better for this Tiger Mama to roar than the vibrant South-East Asian hub of flavour and culture that is Swan Street, Richmond! We’ll be serving’ our trademark Asian-fusion home-style dishes – our signature Banh Baos, our bold graffiti wall-scapes, an in-built and vibrant greenhouse, and our most beloved selection of ‘gram-worthy cocktails! It’s ‘Crouching Tiger, Whole New Mumma!’ – but this sequel is just as good as the original!

Reviews
The food was so full of flavour best kingfish dish I have ever had.
The pad thai was lovely just a little too sweet.
Brisket was a little dry but quite tasty and with the salad very refreshing.
Staff were great and offered recommendations.
We would highly recommend.
The service was genuinely friendly, and the $50pp feed-me option was unreal value. Three smalls, three bigs and a couple of sides for the three of us, plus a great drinks list to go with it
The food was outstanding. The lamb shank was the standout, and the tuna tataki was beautiful. Honestly can’t believe we waited this long
The lamp selection adds a pleasant touch, while the service provided was notably friendly and welcoming.
The ambient lighting is somewhat dim, which may not appeal to everyone, but it creates a cozy atmosphere. The music played is upbeat and cheerful, enhancing the dining experience.
However, the policy regarding limited time for diners to remain at the table is noteworthy. While it encourages turnover and allows more guests to enjoy the space, it can feel restrictive, leaving little room for extended conversation or relaxation. This approach may be considered unconventional, but it serves to maximize opportunities for other patrons.
– Spring rolls (veggies and seafood ones) they’re both acceptable, dipping sauce is plain.
– Beef ribs is a bit salty but salad on the dishes is excellent.
– Cashews stir fry is very plain if you don’t like too much spices.
– Duck wonton’s delicious, dumplings isn’t bad, I love spicy prawn tempura (only for spicy lovers)
– Fried rice with crab is really oily and crab is too salty. Not sure why it’s always packed but the flavours in general wasn’t that impressive
