McKenna’s Place reminds me of your local Cheers bar. The wait staff was friendly seemed to know several customers by name. The food was delicious. I ordered the small hot Lobster roll with fries and it didn’t disappoint. My waitor Jeff was very attentive to my needs and once I was seated he informed me of the specials of the day. The service was super fast because it wasn’t crowded yet. I’m glad I gave this place a try.

Gotta give a shoutout to my new favorite restaurant! I love frequenting this local establishment because they offer gluten free options to customers. Finally a place for me! Everything I’ve sampled thus far has been fabulous! I must say, my 3 favorite samplings have been the Ponce Inlet fish, the Corned beef Rueben, and who could forget the NSB chicken sandwich? (I use the gluten-free buns.) Plus, I can’t say enough about my favorite waitress, Allie! Way to go McKenna’s!

My server, Kody he is so amazing. He checked with the kitchen to make sure everything would be gluten/dairy free for me. My second time coming here in two days. Everyone’s so so friendly here and i feel so safe dining here. They have a separate menu and also a gf fryer!!!! I was able to have bar food for the first time bc of this place! Please go!

Diane, Alicia and Brooklyn truly took care of us this evening. We hadn’t been here for a while after some new food allergies have been diagnosed, but being our anniversary we decided to call ahead. After speaking to the owner Chris about my numerous food allergies, he ensured me that all necessary precautions and special changes would be taken even in his absence; and they did just that and more. Ordered an allergy modified Grid Iron, tenders and Argentine shrimp app. No reactions and truly appreciate being able to enjoy a safe meal out.

We came to Port Orange from out of town and needed a to find a restaurant to accommodate not only a larger party, but gluten allergies. This place was that place! The Owner came over and personally explained how they handle gluten allergies with marked pots and pans, and a special gluten free section of the kitchen. The gluten free menu was larger than most with a lot of options including seafood, which is nearly impossible to find. The rest of the menu was also delicious! I recommend the Brussels sprouts!

The good was exceptional. My fish sandwich was huge. The fish was big enough for 2 sandwiches. Hubby’s BLT was great too. Onion straws very tasty. Service was awesome. Never had to ask for refills. Glad was always full.

WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! Service was AMAZING!! Olivia was absolutely great! My wife has Celiac and they have a dedicated menu and really take pride in making sure they have dedicated fryers! The owner came up and talked with us too! Food was amazing as well and the gluten free food was actually edible which is a nice change!!! We drove 90 minutes to come here and we will be back for sure!!!

Our Taekwondo team was in town for a major tournament in Daytona, and we found McKenna’s through their extensive gluten-free menu as a child in the team has Celiac disease. The owner, Chris, took the time to sit with our whole team and get to know us, and the servers were great and made awesome recommendations. The food came out fast, and was delicious, so we didn’t have to worry about having a super late night after driving from the Tampa Bay area. We will absolutely visit again the next time we’re in this part of the state!

My friend & I have been here about 5-6 times. Service is always good- very friendly! However, food is fair to good. There are things I won’t order again due to cheap to average ingredients (chef salad not good at all) we go for the wings & potato skins only. My friend did like her fish one night. Do not order the Iced Tea, it’s not good!- stick with water…
We like the atmosphere & location so we go back.

Was told about this Restaurant by our charter captain as he said they would cook our freshly caught fish for us if we bring it to them . So we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did !!!! Everything we ordered and all the fish we brought in was just seasoned and cooked to perfection!!!! From the moment we first arrived the owner himself greeted us at the door . We had our dog with us and not only were they great with us but also they are a dog friendly business . They welcomed us there and of course cooked our assortment of fish we brought some MAHI MAHI , amberjack , and snapper. The cook himself took time to remove any bones that had been left behind and just was brilliant with the food . Pictures just don’t do it justice for the service we got and the price wasn’t going to break the bank either. I would highly recommend the buffalo shrimp and the coconut shrimp as appetizers as they were just Delicious!!! Will definitely be stopping by here every time I get a chance to. I would recommend it to anyone who loves great food and great atmosphere with wonderful host . Thanks again just Great
