Great location with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. Select tacos are included in their happy hour deals. There is a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan tacos – I highly recommend “this is my yam” and “triple pickle”

This restaurant is the BEST! The food is absolutely perfect, so flavorful and tasty. The Brazos Burrito is sooooo good. We had the Tres Leches cake for dessert which was also probably our favorite dessert we have ever gotten at a restaurant —ever!!
The service is great as well! So friendly and welcoming. The patio is very nicely decorated and kept very clean/tidy.
There’s absolutely nothing I could suggest to improve, they have it all figured out already! I wish I lived in this area, I would come back all the time. Next time I’m in Charlottesville I WILL be coming back!

We tried all six of the tacos on happy hour. They were all excellent, though I was partial to the vegetarian ones. The watermelon jalapeño margarita was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Nice outdoor atmosphere. Excited to return and try more!

I’ve spent more of my life in Texas than anywhere else, so I’ve heard every variation of “you can’t get good tacos north of/east of/west of” that there is. And yet in three visits to Brazos Tacos in Charlottesville, I have yet to order a taco that wasn’t as good as any taco I’ve eaten anywhere, including San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, and a baker’s dozen smaller towns in Texas. And I’ll stand on Matthew McConaughey’s coffee table in my 45 year old Tony Lamas and say that. Try The Solid and the Guisada and go from there. It’s gooooood.

One of the best restaurants in cville!!! So consistent, delicious, affordable. My favorites are the bill, this is my yam, and all of the other amazing vegetarian options. The solid and fish tacos are also wonderful Chips and queso are also fab and it’s a great place to sit and relax!

I come to C’ville from KY to visit grandchild. Always make it a point to come to eat at Brazos! Best tacos I ever had. The menu overwhelms me, but the counter guys are great at zeroing in what will make me happy. Quick service, blah, blah, etc

I ordered the ‘ I willy love you ‘ tacos, and they were pretty good! Wish they had more than one slice of avacado per taco though. Very nice restaurant and staff, I will definitely be returning to try some other flavors.

Amazing Charlottesville restaurant – not to be missed. Brazos is a locally owned restaurant and after 40 years living in Charlottesville, this place is one of my absolute favorites. Great vegetarian options, friendly, caring staff and consistently delicious tacos. My favorites are the triple pickle and the Rosa. Highly recommend. Wheelchair accessible, too.

Because I am in a wheelchair, it is hard for me to be in public without a lot of effort. But at Brazos, they make it very easy and comfortable for me. I am always feeling very welcome there and I find the location very accommodating. So it is one of the few places I feel very Relaxed going. The service there is always phenomenal and very friendly. We go at least two times a week to the Ix location.
