The reason for four instead of five stars is that my Sammy sandwich came partially cold and the egg was only on half the sandwich. I went back and got a cinnamon roll and it was delicious! My wife had a lemon filled donut that she loved as well. I would stick to pastries at this place myself.

Lovely neighborhood spot that lives up to its “community” name. You can tell the food is baked by someone who cares and the coffee is honestly some of the best I’ve had in Little Rock. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a sweet treat, a loaf of bread, a slice of pie (or a whole pie) and feel good about it. The staff is helpful, parking is easy and the quality is there.

I was just here this morning. The staff was super helpful and filled out the order exactly as asked. The breakfast croissant was scrumptious and the coffee was perfect. Will definitely come by again if I return to Little Rock.

Community bakery on Main Street need to be shut down. A few months ago I got a cheddar jalapeño bagel and it was doughy/raw in the inside. This morning I went and got three plain cake donuts, and those things were flat and dry as sand. I don’t know who they have in the back baking or what ingredients they are using, but whatever it is, it needs to stop now. I will never go there again. They have really fallen off.

My granddaughters and I have always loved to go downtown to the bakery. We had quiche and cookies on this visit, both excellent as always! They were very busy, but kept apologizing for the wait. We didn’t mind though because the walls are covered in art you can purchase (local artists). We let a few elderly people go ahead of us as we were not in a hurry. The workers were so kind and patient with one of them who just wanted to talk. Community Bakery never disappoints! We buy birthday cakes from them and they are always ready for pickup on arrival. We love this place!

My family and I were traveling through Arkansas from Texas, and stopped for a quick breakfast. We had our baby on our trip so we were planning on just going through the drive thru… But at the window we were warmly met by John who was so welcoming and encouraged us to come in so that he could show us the amazing arrangement of pastries and baked goodies and incredible list of coffee drinks.
For the 90s girls, you’ll love the specialty list of Gilmore Girls drinks. I loved the “24hr Dance Party” cold brew. The banana nut muffin was off the charts good!! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend it!
My wife had an amazing breakfast croissant sandwich and we got some goodies to go which I’m super excited to eat later!
This place is definitely on our list next time we are in the area.

I have struggled with this review because this is my late mother’s favorite bakery with many childhood memories. I have so many fond memories and was excited to visited this past holiday weekend while in town. The servers were all so friendly and atmosphere was welcoming like always. I just couldn’t keep silent and overlook that there were 2 flies in 2 different the pastry cases landing on multiple items. I told the lady who opened the cases to let them out. She knew I was disappointed. She said she was going to throw away the items. I looked around to find something that wasn’t in the cases but ended up witnessing her sale the product to someone else from the cases with the flies. She offered to get my cookies from the back stock and after I paid she dug deep in her ear with her pinky finger. I couldn’t remember seeing her wearing gloves when she went to the back for my cookies. She was so friendly but what I witnessed was so disgusting from the flies to digging in the ear . I hope this never ever happens again as I want to visit when I’m in town because of the memories I have at this bakery. Please stress to the employees no customer should ever have to make a post like this. Rating is only because everything was affected by what I witnessed.

Hadn’t been to this location in years-boy had I been missing out. The food is fabulous! The staff are friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable If you’re in the area make it a point to stop by. Parking can be tricky but that’s the only thing.

If you’re in Little Rock, don’t miss this spot! It’s a local gem and it’s delicious. We loveee the cinnamon rolls and the breakfast sandwiches. Also have amazing coffee. My family has also ordered our birthday cakes from Community for as long as I can remember. They’re the best and there are so many delicious options you can’t go wrong

Passing thru on a cross country drive and we were very lucky the Community was open on Monday! I got an absolutely delivious chive and cheddar scone. It’s like a cross between a scone and southern biscuit and was very tasty and very filling, but I would still recommend getting two! I also got what turned out to be an excellent chocolate chip cookie (and I know my cookies). And the very nice owners replaced my latter at no cost after I dropped it all over their floor when I was trying to open the door. Definitely make sure you stop if you are in the area and also check out their bread selections.
