I really like this bar. First came here to dance at their cozy dance floor in the very back and had an amazing time. I went for their Tuesday trivia recently and was happy to find a new synducation “king trivia”, which was fun although phone based, which isn’t my personal preference. Still the host and vibe were good. Prices are very reasonable and service is great! Tuesdays tallboy and tots special is a really good deal.

Amazing atmosphere. A saloon. But the music is modern. Amazing drinks. Great food. No wait. Very quiet. They have booths, bar seating, so much table space. The customer service was so good. I will be back for sure.

The cheese logs and cheese curds were amazing. Great crunch to the logs and the cheese pull was insane.

The burgers however were very inconsistent, when requesting medium well one came medium well and the other came well done. The buns are also not my favorite. They’re using some kind of hard dense loaf bread more akin to a hoagie rather than a soft burger bun.

I would stick to ordering the cheese logs next time.

Initially went here as it’s the oldest bar in Seattle. Happy Hour $1 off drafts & well drinks but gin or vodka martinis for $6.50(half price) We’d never had one & I have friends who love them so we did it. Great atmosphere & very friendly staff. Sunflower hummus is good w veggies&pita, biggest mozzarella sticks you’ll ever see. Came again & had special fish&chips $16, my son had fried pork chop w cabbage$18
Both great & least expensive meal

For a bar this place has shockingly good food. Even the cheese sticks are made in-house. No Sysco pre-packaged frozen stuff. Such a breath of fresh air in 2026. Please go here and support a local place that makes almost everything from scratch. We need more places like this.

Delicious food for a little saloon. The chef had some great concepts and delivers.
Get the mozzarella sticks, they are out of this world delicious.

This is a great spot with more room than it looks like from the outside. Some pinball and old school games in the back to kill time before any comedy shows. They have trivia nights on Mondays and the food is moderately priced with good drink prices and friendly staff. Look forward to more nights out here in the future.

Great kickback ambiance.. I didn’t eat anything but one person at my table had tater tots and they were hot, tasty, and non greasy, which is nice. Bartender was very attentive without making me feel rushed. I would return and order food. This is a local hangout and that is what gives it it’s charm.

It was a slow evening and yet it was evident the place had been a more popular spot in the past. The claim of oldest bar in Seattle isn’t really enough to make me a frequent visitor. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was okay but friendly. Parking would have been horrendous had it not been for our handicap placard.

One could really feel the history in this place. Just north of Boeing Feild, this little gem has good beers on tap, excellent kitchen and big screen TV in the back to watch the Mariners game. The are some pinball games in the back and a performance space for The Drunken Owl Theater. Plenty of seating in the front bar area, but it does not feel crowded. Definitely going again!
