Food was AMAZING! I got the birria tacos and the queso dip with steak, chicken, and shrimp food was 10/10. My drink wash blah. I got the holiday island drink and it tasted like juice. But overall I’ll be back and try a different drink next time.

I tired this place when they first opened up years ago and I didn’t like it. I decided to try it again a couple of weeks ago and was blown away on how good the food was!
The margaritas are very strong ( no prices on the drink menu that I could see) tasted great, I believe the 16oz margarita was $10 and only needed one. The enchiladas are hands down the best around! The birria tacos were awesome, very crispy and zero chunks of fat like some other restaurants. The cheese dip with jalapeños taste amazing! The chips could use a little improvement, not the best chips but not bad. One really big shocker is that they serve an awesome bacon burger. My child ordered wanted me to bring him home a burger so I decided to order one hear instead of making a separate stop. When i got home I opened the to-go box with the burger, I was shocked how good it looked I took a bit and it was amazing!
We will definitely be regular customers here for now on!

Came here on a busy Sunday afternoon. We were seated right away. There was a large group (about 30 people), but service was still quick and friendly. Our cheese dip appetizer & drinks came pretty quick, and our food orders about 10 minutes later. Angie was a great server. Just as we were finishing our drinks, she had 2 more at the table ready to go!

this place is definitely TexMex the fried shrimp tacos were a ball of shrimp that came with cilantro and onions. they looked like something that is sold in the frozen aisle and served for $5.50. they also said the shrimp tacos were originally sold with cheese (???). i ate only one of my shrimp and the person did not want to comp my food. i would not recommend.
in addition, our waitress and other servers were very pleasant.

My family and I went here for my birthday February 25,2025…Our waiter was freaking awesome she had the best manners! She kept us with chips and dip as we waited. So my daughter and husband received their food first everything was fine. I received my food next I ordered a chicken enchilada and a beef enchilada beans and rice IT WAS HORRIBLE! (But it was my birthday so I didn’t complain I was just like I’m going to take this with me) So my youngest daughter ordered some tacos that dip in some type of sauce she didn’t like it IT WAS AWFUL…so I asked my nice waitress could I just switch it out because she didn’t like it she said she had to ask the manager…So the manager come to my table with the rudest attitude like we was trying to be “GOBBLERS!” So I just got to go plates paid tipped my waitress and WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN‼️‼️

My family and I have been loyal customers since 2010. Blu Agave is my go-to for authentic Mexican dishes. They offer a fantastic blend of traditional favorites and creative modern options. I’m particularly impressed with their recent expansion. The new addition brings a touch of sophistication while still maintaining the family-friendly atmosphere on the other side of the restaurant. Highly recommended!

This place was all right. They put beans in their chimichangas and that threw me off. The food was pretty good though. The service was spectacular. If nothing else it’s worth going for the service. That lady treated us so nice.

It was our first time visiting, food was okay, Service was terrible. our waitress took 20 minutes to check on us. They weren’t busy at all. They took forever for the drinks, and when we got them they were nasty and we had to wait like another 20 minutes for our waitress to come back and by that time the drinks were almost dead. We ordered cheese dip and didn’t have any chips for a long time and the food came out 15 minutes between the each other by the time my friend food came out mines was cold. Ask to talk to the manager and was not accommodating. Don’t waste your time here

Ordered a frozen Texas Margarita that was very weak and tasted like a frozen Slurpee from a gas station. Also ordered Guacamole and chips to snack on watching the ball game. The dish was horrible. Tasted pickled, the tomatoes were green, the onions were super strong and overpowered everything, and the avocado was hard and didn’t appear to be ripe. I figured I’d at least let the assistant manager know about the poor taste and quality. Instead of replacing the dish or at least offering to remove it from my tab, the gentleman stated that we haven’t had any complaints, which I thought was rude. Mind you after ordering the dish the person next to me mentioned that it might be a bit bland and stated that it wasn’t very good. I figured I’d at least try it. I told the assistant manager that I didn’t like it and why. He simply turned and said oh well and walked away. There’s a lot to say for customer service. How simple it would have been to replace or offer to remove a mere eight dollar dish. All I can say is, I didn’t like the way I was treated and will not return to spend money at a place where my business is not appreciated. I recommend Casa Jalisco further down Chapel Hill because the food is always excellent, and the spirits are always strong, and they greet you walking in, check on you during, and thank you for coming before you leave. Customer Service Is Paramount!
