FUEGO IS CURRENTLY CLOSED! Recently tried to go to Fuego for Valentine’s Day because my boyfriend and I have gone there before and throughly enjoyed their food. Google said they were open and I was able to make a reservation online and received updates but, when we walked down to Fuego, completely closed and a sign on the windows along the lines of sale and tax permit expired. Disappointing that we were able to still make reservations and google says that it’s open, shouldn’t have to go to a restaurant to make sure it’s still open. Sharing this so you don’t end up in a similar situation, hope they reopen great food and staff when we went.

I went to Fuego to dance salsa and have a great time with my friend.
I ordered 4 drinks for myself and 2 plates of empanadas on like a Thursday night. I had a GREAT time. I’m very picky with my drinks because I don’t like tasting the alcohol but the bartender did a perfect job making them + the food was great. So I took the bartender’s name because I wanted to leave a good review…..
The next day, I get a follow on Instagram and it’s the bartender…… I never gave him my name. When we called to tell the bar what happened, they didn’t take it seriously. But the bartender should’ve never done that. The only way he could’ve gotten my name was from my debit card and THAT is the weird part. That made me feel UNSAFE and it was unprofessional on his part.

Enjoyed the food immensely. Had the el feugo margarita which is a spicy drink. Loved it. It’s a hidden treasure. Started with the penil empanada. We had the paella, the catch of the day and the hanger steak and ended the meal with the tres leches and the passion fruit cheese cake. All delicious. We will be back.
