I ate there twice. First, for dinner where they put me in a corner table with no light and I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. I ordered their smallest steak, which was huge. I was thinking, this is a really good deal until I cut into it. Apparently cook is using too much temperature as the outside was done perfectly inside was not. Ordered medium got extremely rare. Had to send the food back to be cooked some more. Anytime that happens, it is definitely no tip.
Went back for breakfast the next day. Different waitress, however, everything still came out other than how I ordered it. Food tasted okay, just not how I ordered it. Eggs were undercooked, hash browns were clearly cooked on the outside, but not even hot on the inside. Toast was toasted but cold.
If I have to stay in that town again may end up eating here again as there is not a lot of choice for restaurants. Almost forgot, allow extra time as I stood around quite a while waiting for someone to notice that I wanted a table.

We stopped at this restaurant after hearing so many great recommendations, and my father and I absolutely loved it. Amber was incredibly sweet and took the time to chat with us, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was clean and well kept, and we really enjoyed the salad bar with its wide variety of options. We visited during a road trip to Colorado and are so glad we did. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone passing through.

A group of 4 ate here for breakfast! There seemed to be a local crowd as we walked in around 8:30am. We were promptly seated, greeted and beverages were brought shortly thereafter. Our server was attentive and our food was amazing! We typically are not the type to eat out for breakfast, but we would definitely go back here again!

Was on the road all day and wanted something other than a typical fast food meal. So glad I stopped in here. Quick and pleasant service, generous portions, and fresh, crisp condiments on my bacon cheeseburger had me ready to curl up for a nap before receiving the check. Good sized parking lot and close to the interstate. Would recommend, and will stop here again if my travels bring me out this way. Thanks!

We’re locals, so the long term staff knows us. We primarily go for the buffet. We love the fried chicken. Other than frying it at home, Meridy’s fried chicken always hits the spot! Loads of great food on their menu too. The staff, and Meridy, are always so pleasant & personable. They have dine in, take out & they also cater! Whether you live in town, drive an 18 wheeler, or are just stopping for a feel good meal off the interstate, this is the place you need to be! Plenty of parking out back for rigs & RV’s!

Amazing staff.The food is out of this world. The salad bar I’d so good with Great options. Their steaks are perfectly cook,well trim of unwanted stuff. You get quality piece of steaks. Their side a delicious i got the cheese curd .Their waitresses are fast efficient and attentive. I sure there’s nothing you will not be happy with. I highly recommend this Amazing place.

Chicken Fried Steak, Monte Cristo, Denver Omelet, and Philly Wrap were all really good. I would highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak again though. Great Service. Bulk Hamburger was dry- that was the only thing we got that we didn’t like so much. Would definitely eat here again.

Food wasnt bad. The server wasnt the best. I understand people get busy but the place wasnt all that busy and it was just me and my uncle there I explained to her 3 times that I am the one that ordered pepsi not dr pepper but each time she gave me the doctor pepper. I was polite and just kept reminding her that I had the pepsi. The 3rd time she got frustrated and had an attitude and refused to even come back to our table so I couldn’t even ask her were my bacon was that I ordered on my burger. Tried to wait but food was starting to get cold. Didn’t say anything to anyone cause she never put bacon on my receipt cause she couldn’t focus long enough to get my order right. Maybe whe had a lot going on at home so I will forget it but overall experience could have been better.

I just wanna cry because this is the BEST steak I have ever had in my life. I’m a truck driver and I’ve been to lots of places in all 50 states! It’s freshly cut local grass feed beef! It’s so watery and kinda melting in your mouth.. and aftertaste is so good that I won’t brush my teeth for two days now lol
If I had to choose “last meal” in my life this would be the place!
Don’t let the entrance fool you, it’s a real gem in the western Kansas. God bless y’all!
