We were absolutely thrilled with Mission BBQ catering our wedding! From start to finish, the team was exceptional. They handled setup and cleanup seamlessly and even took care of putting our leftovers in the kitchen at our venue, which made everything so much easier for us and our venue staff. Mission BBQ’s staff was incredibly easy to work with, and the food was outstanding—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! We also loved that Mission BBQ is veteran-owned, which made it especially meaningful to us as my husband is a veteran. We highly recommend them for any event and are so grateful for the wonderful experience they provided on our special day.

Found this place looking for food while visiting the area. This place far exceeded my expectations. Military theme honoring past and present. Definitely a very Americana vibe with decor and music. From the moment you walk in youre greeted by the staff. The cashier asked if we had been there before and took her time to thoroughly explain the menu and all the options. I ended up with 3 meats combo. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful. They have 6 sauces to choose from as well. I only wish 1 of these were located near me, id be there all the time. Lastly the prices were very reasonable in my opinion.

Love everything we ordered. Friendly staff, Excellent service, everyone is very helpful, I ordered chicken wings and it melts in my mouth, pulled pork and turkey are very well seasoned and we even have to take some to go because of large portion servings. Highly recommended

While traveling through Wilkes Barre, it was time to have lunch and we try and avoid the big chains and ops for a local place. We could not haveade a better find! As a veteran and on veterans day, I felt wildly special visiting mission BBQ. We will likely stop on our return back through! Thank you Mission BBQ and God bless you all!

Came here and decided to try the meat sampler (pulled pork, brisket, and chicken). Meats were so juicy & well seasoned you don’t even need to use their sauce. The staff were excellent and my young son loved the decor. We’ll be back!

I went there tonight (8/27) with my father for the first time & the food portions & quality were outstanding! Also, the manager on duty was polite & attentive making sure our meals were satisfactory & even offered us a free dessert since it was our first time. He was awesome! Plus my dad loved the veteran style with the plaques and the tool box with the napkins and such — he really got a kick out of that 🙂 plus my grandfathers Air Force plaque was hung on the wall may he rest in peace. 10/10 recommend and will be back — Thank you Mission BBQ!

The people are absolutely amazing and so helpful, we stop in frequently but last time we came in we got an envelope for some promotion they were doing I believe, so we stopped in today (2/6) to redeem said envelope. We ended up getting ribs pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw, with of course a glass beverage from their great selection when you walk up to the counter. Food was amazing as always. Employees are super kind and always right there to help you out. We had Kayla and she was an ANGEL. she was so helpful and sweet helping us out, she’s there with a smile every single time. The food is amazing but it’s the employees that really bring it together. I’ll forever give this restaurant a 10/10. Thank you guys!

This place deserves a million stars!!! First time my husband and I ate there and let me tell you delicious moist . They have the BEST STAFF I ever seen. So friendly and actually took pride in their work! They explained the business to us and the Mission❤️. There definitely needs to be way more places like this and the staff I can’t say enough about them they even came to our table to talk to us and left us treats. By far the best place I ever ate in!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner after catching a movie downtown. If we could give this place 7 stars out of 5 we would! The woman at the counter explained the menu to us after we said it was our first time there. I got the black plate special which was 10 huge smoked chicken wings and they were incredible! They didn’t need sauce but I tried all 6 sauces at the table anyways and they were all delicious with the wings. We split a mac and cheese and fries, both incredibly good.
Bill explained how all the food was fresh and never frozen and it was obvious as we were eating as everything was just incredible!
My wife enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with the Smoky Mountain sauce.
We had a fresh made lemonade and sweet tea which were the perfect match for our meals.
We finished off with a caramel apple cobbler dessert that was out of this world delicious!
We’ve already picked what we are getting when we come back!
