Buffet was huge
Food was very good. I had fried chicken with fried okra my husband had S Carolina barbecue everything was so good. They have a nice walkway around a lake with turtles and fish to feed. They also have a banquet hall.
The honesty of the staff saved our vacation. I left my purse in the restaurant it had a luggage tag. We took of down the road towards Myrtle Beach. Half way i got a phone call my purse was there. I did not even notice it was gone yet. I can not thank them enough

Buffet has a great variety. Food was very good. Love the fried chicken (some of the best anywhere). The sweet potato casserole is yummy. Lots of vegetables to choose from. BBQ and ribs are tasty. We always stop on our way to the beach and it never disappoints.

Tried almost everything between 3 of us, and it was all delicious, not greasy, cooked exactly as it should be. I don’t usually get desserts but glad that I did, they were better than expected. $14 including tea that they gave us to go as well. Cant beat the quality of the food or the value. Combined, absolutely 5 stars. Just 5 minutes off the highway but worth it if it was 20. Quick, friendly service, nice environment.

This place was recommended by the hotel staff at the Holiday Inn. We arrived early on Friday at 5pm before it got busy. We went with the buffet and got to sample all of their delightful sides, meats, and desserts. The food was just what I would expect if visiting my southern grandmother. My mom is an excellent cook and she agreed this was the real deal. You’ll be stuffed from trying everything, but leave room for the yummy desserts. If you want great, southern, comfort food, at a reasonable price…stop here!

My family stopped here while traveling. The atmosphere is quintessential southern dining. Our servers were charming, chipper, and pleasant. We all had the buffet in the evening. It had a decent selection and all you can eat ribs is a win anu day of the week. The food was good but everything was a bit salty. Not enough to ruin the food but it was noticeable. Overall we had a great time and Shulers is a nice place to grab some southern comfort on your travels.

Not going to lie I walked in and seen the small buffet and thought “this definitely ain’t what I expected”. Having toddlers that are very picky as well as myself. Decided this is our first family vacation and first time in the south. This is what it’s about. Trying new things. We settled down and got our plates of food and when I tell you this food started speaking to my soul.. I’m from Ohio and from a family of good cooks and I’ve still never tasted food this delicious in my life. Ribs that literally melt in your mouth, fried chicken that kfc doesn’t even hold a light to, corn on the cob that you don’t need extra butter to eat. Then the deserts. I’ve never been so stuffed. The whole car is napping on the way home from full tummies. I’ve already told 10 different families about this hidden gem. The servers were super patient with my toddlers and everyone was so friendly. I’d give 10 stars if I could. They also have very affordable fish food to feed massive fish and turtles in their pond out back which the children loved. We didn’t even know you could do this until 3 different complete and total strangers seen us walk up to see what they were doing and they offered their cups of food to the kiddos to share the fun. We will definitely be returning!!
