My family has been coming to Razzleberries for years, and although their ice cream is very good and the staff overall excellent, I’m giving a one-star rating because the owners of Razzleberries are charging $2 extra for a waffle-cone. This is total gouging and a ripp-off. It’s one thing that their ice cream prices have doubled since before COVID, but to charge $2 extra for a waffle-cone is absolutely ridiculous. I hope the owners read my review and change their policy by giving customers the choice of a regular or waffle-cone, at no extra charge, or at least they lower the price they charge for a waffle-cone to a more reasonable $1. With the price of a single, double, triple, and quadruple scoop, being $7, $8, $12, and $13 respectively, I think this is high enough for the waffle-cone to be included with the ice cream. I want to make it clear that although everyone including myself who goes to Razzleberries can afford to pay whatever exorbitant prices Razzleberries charges for their ice cream, we don’t want to feel like we’re being nickeled and dimed with extra charges. My recommendation to drop the extra-charge for waffle-cones will help improve Razzleberries image in my opinion. The owners might argue differently since they have a 4.7 average Google rating, but I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels the way I do. I want to make it clear that my post is about principle, right from wrong, and not about money. It’s no different than the airlines who charge ridiculously high extra fees for seat selection and baggage, something most people hate, but are powerless to do anything about, unless they pay for a higher fare class, like Premium Economy or First Class.

Andy was very upbeat kind and knowledgeable about all the flavors and had great recommendations I went with the chocolate waffle cone and a milk shake and I can confirm the ice cream is delicious! Money well spent! Thanks Andy and I def will recommend to all my friend ! Def refreshing to see someone enthusiastic about their job and Customer Service was phenomenal!

Razzleberry’s Homemade Ice Cream Parlor has been open for 30 years! Its popularity is because of the delicious ice creams it makes and the reasonable prices it offers. When it gets super hot in Pompano Beach, you should run over to this store as it is so refreshingly cool inside!
Our server was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about the different flavors of ice cream. My daughter got the Smurf and Cherry Vanilla with waffle cone, and I got the Brownie Fudge Swirl with waffle cone. They are generous with the scoop size! Both were yummy.
Parking was available on the street very close to this shop. We would return again.

However, my recent visits have left me deeply disappointed due to the noticeable deterioration of the shop. The place feels neglected—dirty floors, sticky tables, and an overall lack of maintenance create an unpleasant atmosphere.
It’s surprising and frustrating to see a business that seems to do well allow such a perception of abandonment. The ice cream remains great, but the poor state of the shop overshadows the experience. This level of neglect is unjustifiable and, if unchanged, will likely hurt their business in the short term. I hope the management takes action to restore the charm that made Razzleberry’s special.

It’s Me
Razzleberry’s razzled and dazzled. The ice cream was amazing, the staff was super sweet and the selection was huge. Steps away from the beach, and along a strip of local restaurants adds to its appeal. The brownie sundae was off the chain, and the chocolate dipped cone was fresh and crunchy. Way better than those chain places, with a larger portion, fresher local product, and a more appealing price point. When you are at the beach here, make sure you stop for an ice cream break!

I honestly don’t understand the current Google rating for this place. The whole experience was awful — the shop was dirty and unwelcoming, and the ice cream was really bad. It did not taste fresh or flavorful, and overall it was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The staff was friendly and eager to meet our needs. By needs I mean heavy scoops of ice cream. I had chocolate. Which was sweet, mellow and comforting. Nobody in my group had a complaint.
