I’ve been coming to this Bob Evans for over 20 years, and for the past 8–9 years it has become a special tradition for me and my kids. We’ve always appreciated the warm service from the long-time staff and the consistency of the food.
However, during my most recent visit I noticed a significant decline in the management and overall upkeep of the restaurant. The restrooms were extremely dirty — the toilets, the floors, and the overflowing trash bins all showed a level of neglect I had never seen here before. Out of respect for other customers, I will not be sharing the photos I took of the restroom conditions, because I don’t think it’s pleasant for anyone to see those publicly. I will only include a picture of the hand towel dispenser, which was visibly dirty.
Another thing that stood out was the silverware. In all these years I’ve never received utensils with visible water spots or residue, but this time several pieces had noticeable marks, as if they hadn’t been checked before being placed on the table. It really felt like there was no oversight in areas where there used to be very clear standards.
The long-time employees continue to be kind, and the food itself remains good, but the atmosphere and attention to cleanliness are not what they used to be. I understand that staffing and management changes can affect operations, but I truly hope this location can return to the level of care that made it such a reliable place for so many years. This restaurant holds a lot of family memories for us, and I would love to see it get back on track.

We came in 30 min before close and were out of there by close!
I understand that we came close to closing time but the service was a little lacking and not very friendly. The food was quick and tasted fine. The burger was well cooked and flavorful. There was plenty of fries. The kids meal was great price for what it came with. The new cold brew was not very good though! But I also like lots of sugar in my coffee. There were lots of new menu items that I would have liked to try if we came earlier.

I’ve never seen anything so disorganized in all my past experience ordering my feast at this stablishment. The improvise drive thru only makes things worse. Not even McDonald’s in their busy times got me waiting for 2 1/2, especially after having a prepaid order. This ridiculous coming from Bob evans. Never again.

The server Keianna(not sure of the spelling)was so amazing. Polite, friendly and fast. She was total non stop. She was on top of the care for the customers in her area. The food was hot and fresh. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers for an early Friday afternoon. The only downside is the restaurant could use a coat of paint outside. And some of the ceiling fans need cleaned and ceiling titles need replaced. All said and done. It was well worth the stop. Also , if you are a vet. You get a military discount.

More like 3.5. Service is a 3 star. Server came to get our order and didn’t come back until he brought the check.
But food was really good. That gravy with the biscuits, yum! My omelette was super good. I really enjoyed it. The coffee was terrible. I usually don’t have an opinion about the coffee but it was so bad I have to mention it here.
Would I come back again. Yes, food was good and the price was right.

came at 2:00 p.m., there was almost no customers, placed a carry-out order for sausage biscuits and a cup of gravy. Took 15 minutes, when I open the staple bag at home I found it barely filled the gravy. very slow and very disappointing…

Memories of Bob Evans on a trip out to Ohio many years ago always remind me of good times. They are good, sit-down, hearty breakfasts to eat on the road and great establishments we don’t have in the East. On our trip from Massachusetts to Mississippi we left Philadelphia early and made it to Manassas, Virginia early. We had issues of getting our kids in gear and I couldn’t find the place to drive into the restaurant parking lot, so we parked near it and I went in. Nobody followed and when I came in the memories of Bob Evans of yesteryear came back. I was greeted at the door and the hostess asked if I had any children in my party. I have a 17 year old, 12 year old and an 8 year old plus my wife so I said, I have 3 kids. She immediately pulled out the crayons and I didn’t object. She showed me to the table and I started drooling over the menu. Today, on this trip we were going to just pack it in. This doesn’t usually happen. I’m a penny pincher but I wanted a big breakfast and I wanted it now. Finally the family started trickling in and I even went back out there to the car and told the kids to hurry themselves up so we could eat and get going. We weren’t stopping anywhere else. This was it. They came in one by one. The waitress now saw that I had joked about having 3 small kids and she quickly switched back to normal menus and took away the crayons. I started sipping my coffee and our server named Joshua came over. We were in Manassas, Virginia and Joshua didn’t have the twang we’d been hearing already on our trip down south. We explained that he had come down to Manassas for certain reasons which didn’t work out and he was originally from Maine, and he liked the area and now didn’t want to leave. Little too much info for the family but it was so far so good. He had some good suggestions of caves and other things around Manassas so he was great. He kept us all laughing and eating good food. I order the steak tips and home fries and eggs which was truly amazing. I ate all of it. My wife ordered the Red White and Blue combo which she wolfed down like there was no tomorrow. Those are included with a picture, on 3 pancakes the red is the strawberries, the blue is the blueberries and the white are slices of banana. Yum. I ate a bit of that too since my daughter ordered the same and couldn’t finish it. My son ordered the biscuits and gravy which lasted in a take out box till somewhere in Tennessee and then we had to let it go, gravy and all. Our youngest had the Double Blueberry Hot breakfast which he enjoyed immensely. He has an allergy issue and he didn’t have any issues after the breakfast. The coffee was great, hot and a good pick me up. We even ordered a really good slightly sweet iced coffee which was great. We had a few sides of sausage and bacon. Over all, the memories of Bob Evans remain wonderful memories, and the place was the classic breakfast on the road place. When will they come up to the Northeast?! Thank you Manassas Bob Evans. You made our trip great!

We had lunch and I ordered chicken wildfire salad, chicken is crispy tastes good, but the dressing not really and they add bbq sauce on the salad that made it tastes weird with the the dressing that comes with it. My friend ordered chicken grilled breast which she liked it.
Service took a little bit longer, because it’s not busy when we came over. But I will try again next time, hopefully they have something in the menu I can recommend.

We went late, about 8pm, so we were not sure what type of service or food we would have. The food was great. The service was really good in the beginning. We were sat quickly and our was taken and arrived quickly. But the were some issues with order. Three sides from 3 people and they didn’t put any gravy on the mashed potatoes. And after we were given our food, the waiter only came back once to check on us. When we told him what we needed he then forgot to bring it. Overall, I would go there again and again.
