At our Villa Rica, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

HORRIBLE!!! Went through Drive-thru bc it was all open lobby was closed. Had a coupon ordered Fish/chicken combo w/slaw & okra. Was charged full price by manager at the window. Didn’t get any hush puppies or slaw. Got a breadstick. & okra with 2 undercooked pieces of fish & chicken I couldn’t even bite it was so hard.

Love the Staff. Fresh Food… all around 5 stars. The Manager definitely runs the ship the right way. Employees are always on task and helpful. Great experience every time! Which is why this is one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in town!

This is robbery! The fish is now cut in half, literally fish STICKS. Country style seems to be the smallest. Yet the price hasn’t been cut. The French fry is almost the same size! This is insanity. I almost forgot…the 2 chicken strips looked more like nuggets that appeared over cooked. Not at all like they used to be. Sad, the patients are running the asylum

If I could give zero stars I would. Our food was cold/soggy, broccoli was browned mush, and we got unsweet teas (which were supposed to be sweet) that cost us $7.18 without straws. The staff seemed bothered by us from start to finish to include when we started our order and the drive thru to when politely asked for straws. When two meals cost $30, fast food or not, quality if nothing else should be better than this. Never waste your time or money here.

I visited this Villa Rica, GA store location and their store manager, Johnny was outside at 3:20 pm smoking a vape at the customer entrance doors. On 01/11/2026. After smoking he went back inside and started taking customer orders and serving food. This is against health code policies for serving customers food. No one should eat here when managers are smoking on the clock and then serving customers food.

Order a 10 piece family pack and two additional meals: 1) Lobster bites, fish, and shrimp meal – seems to be missing the lobster bites. 2) 4 piece chicken strip meal – missing two of the strips.
Called the store to speak with a manager he did not even care or apologize for the missing food. I was not calling to get a free meal or a refund, I just wanted him to ensure that his staff was completing the orders so others would not be disappointed when they reached their destination. I ended up calling Corporate to express my complaint. I did not ask for compensation just needed someone to know what the issue was. $45.00 for everything I bought and to be put off like I was bothering him did it for me.

I work all over Georgia, this is definitely the best Captain D’s in Georgia. Excellent food, customer service, and atmosphere. If you ever near Villa Rica, Georgia stop by the Captain D’s you won’t be disappointed.
