Stopped by to get dinner and was not disappointed in any way! The waitress was very friendly and was nice to work with! It was nice having someone knowledgeable answering my questions about my food and drink choices!

Ended up ordered Salmon Alfredo and a Screwdriver alcoholic drink! My drink order was very tasty and the meal order was delicious to eat!

Catfish was real buttery & rich (our fault, had no ketchup, wouldve been great otherwise) beans are awesome and so is the pilaf rice. service was FANTASTIC. lovely woman (that i didnt catch the name of unfortunately) brought our food out to our car without being prompted. and hauled ass at that!! thank you ma’am!!!

Excellent place for lunch, the portions are pretty big which compensated for the slightly higher prices than other lunch options in the area. The quality of the food is always good! The service was great as well. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for atmosphere is it was a little loud, but that probably varies based on who is at the tables around you.

The best restaurant in Roanoke! Extensive menu with great selection, high quality food, excellent service and huge portion sizes. I had the chicken with seafood, the spinach and artichoke dip and the cheesecake. It was amazing. High recommend this great restaurant in Roanoke. Service is amazing too.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Roanoke. I have eaten pretty much everything on their menu over the last 2 years and it’s all top notch. In the 100+ times I have been here the food and the service were always the same…freaking excellent. The bartenders are super awsome. McKenzie, McKenna, and Casey are some of the best people I’ve ever met, and on top of that they have first class customer service. Do yourself a favor and stop in at Shakers and have yourself a great meal.

Good find through restaurant search. Open til 10p and when we arrived at 9:10 from traveling, the hostess and waiter was as friendly as could be. Ordered the onion rings, huge platter! So hot! The dipping sauce wasn’t the usual hot, spicy horseradish but was sort of sweet and spicy. Really good! Our entrees were full rack of ribs, cheesy chicken and mushroom, and chicken with seafood (name?). All were more than we could eat. Everything was flavorful and hot. Been awhile since served hot food in a restaurant. Our waiter was the nicest person. Prices were reasonable, especially with the amount of food received. If ever back this way, we would definitely return.

My wife and I were on our way back to Wilmington NC from Ohio when we stopped in Roanoke to have dinner.
It started with a Manhattan for my wife and I had a Vodka Gimlet for me at Shakers Restaurant. We chose Shrimp Bang Bang as an appetizer before my wife had a filet and green beans and I had Rib Eye with Creamed Spinach! It was a delicious way to spend our evening and was extra special talking to our server, Megan, who did a great job with a happy persona and attention to detail!

Good place with great food. The menu has a great selection. They make good drinks too. I love the Cheesy chicken or chicken cordon bleu and their au gratin potatoes. Very good tenders and onion rings. The service can sometimes be slow depending on who you get and how crowded.
Bar area, private area, and booth and table seating.

I’ve visited the restaurant a few times to gage the consistency of service and food. I’ve had a couple items that I have had that I thought were a bit too salty (crab cakes) were definitely really salty. My server Kasey has been great each time I have been there. I challenged her to decide what meals I was having the last two times and her suggestions have been great. She is one of the better servers there and I would request her if you decide to go. I would visit them again, if I am in the area.
