We got the chicken tacos because that’s what they are known for, the corn tortillas were hard and felt like paper, the chicken has like no seasoning. We also got cheese fries and the cheese just tasted old. I feel bad because the people were so nice and I’ve heard such good things about this place

$30 for thee very small cups of last years leftover ice cream! Two with sprinkles and one with vary little fundge sauce. No wip cream or napkins. The three 2 scoop cups that amounted to about 4oz each. They charge extra for sprinkles and everything else. The ice cream had no flavor and tasted old. Save you money!

Alright I’m not talking about the food, I’m going to be talking about the ice cream. Their ice cream is the BEST! I’ve never tasted anything like it. I went to Rhode Island for a family vacation and I went there every day to get ice cream. I was so sad when I realized it was only in Rhode Island, but it still is really good. I highly recommend going and trying the ice cream. 🙂

I cannot speak for the food, but the ice cream was really gross and overpriced. We got a 2 scoop sundae. Teeny scoops, the pistachio was freezer burned. The hot fudge was frozen little chips. They forgot the whipped cream and then when they did put it on it was like bubbly water. It was soooooo gross. Like really? There isn’t a better one? “No they are all melted.” I feel like they should have told us that before we ordered a sundae for $7.

This could have been really good If they would have just used a couple pinches of salt. I had the chicken pesto panini, the chicken, while cooked well, had zero seasoning. Rest of the toppings were good quality, but couple pinches of salt would have made a wold of difference. Another member of my party got a burger, again good quality ingredients, but no salt. A little salt would have been great.

I don’t know how they managed to cram an entire restaurant vibe into the space between the order and pick-up windows, but they did. The menu is both what you’d expect for standard beach fare (burgers, hot dogs, fish and chips, etc.), but they also have daily specials, twists on old favorites, little added details, and the extra effort shows. The food is delicious and made after you order, so it takes a little longer than, say, a cheap drive-thru run, but is so, SO worth it. All the employees were very friendly and worked hard to get the food out to you. My only regret is not getting their playlist; the music they had pumping out the speakers was upbeat, summery, and made waiting for your food a little bit more fun.
The prices are average to a sit-down restaurant, but the quality and portion sizes of the food make it worth every penny. I ended up eating there like, seven times over the course of my beach trip, and had no bad experiences. Sure, it would have been cheaper to bring my own food to the beach, but the hassle and headaches weren’t worth it, especially with how good the food I ordered was. You can literally order your food, walk across the street, and eat at the beach (or stay by the restaurant, eat outside at one of their lovely picnic tables, and look at the ocean from there). The ice cream has what you’d expect from an ice cream stand (the flavors, the cone/cup options, the toppings, etc.), but, again, little extra twists here and there: why doesn’t every other ice cream stand offer waffle cone bits as a topping choice? Seriously, there’s just so many tiny details that show how much thought and effort the owners put into creating a genuinely nice place to eat. It’s silly, but I was actually sad about my trip ending because it meant I wouldn’t be able to go back and grab another meal from them; everybody there is just so nice!
I’m planning to return to the beach next year and have already decided it’s worth saving up extra so I can just keep ordering food from here again. Who wants to pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when you could have a fresh Scarborough burger?
