My husband and his family took me to Mi Pequena Hacienda, one of the most popular Mexican restaurants in the Nicholasville area, and both their food and service were wonderful!
The restaurant interior is super festive, spacious and bright with lots of natural light coming in. Our waiter was very kind and everyone was welcoming here.
I got their Adobo Chicken Quesadillas, which came wirh more toppings such as sour cream, Pico De Gillo and greens to add. They were delicious and the portions were very generous! I easily had some to take home for lunch the next day.
For dessert, we got their Flan, which is made from their traditional family recipe. It was deliciously smooth and perfect for sharing. I really enjoyed my time here and definitely recommend this local place if you’re looking for some delicious Mexican cuisine!

I came to Mi Pequiena Hacienda for lunch with my husband and family, a group of ten of us. We were seated on the patio right away as they brought out chips and salsa. The service was quick, friendly, and very accommodating which made the experience even better. I ordered the fiesta grande burrito with steak and so did 3 others, and my husband had the tacos mar y tierra with shrimp and steak. Both dishes came out perfect and full of flavor. Everyone at the table was happy with their meals and enjoyed the service. I will definitely be coming back here again in the near future. Great food, great atmosphere and service.

First time stopping in, we were passing through the area to pick up a car. Building is beautiful from the outside with plenty of parking. Once we walked inside, also decorated as you’d expect, very colorful and pretty. Chips and salsa were pretty good. The Guac comes out in a tortilla shell and is a huge portion, that was good. I ordered the grilled chicken fajita quesadilla with a side of rice and the charro beans. Quesadilla comes out in 4 triangles and was just OK. The meat was excellent but the cheese used inside wasn’t my favorite. The rice was really good and the charro beans were excellent! If I had known how good I would’ve just ordered the biggest bowl of that and called it a day. A must try! It’s kinda like a gumbo but Mexican style. My husband ordered the fajitas cozumel and he said it was very good. They brew their own tea here and it was really good too. Atmosphere is a little loud but it’s cozy dining and everyone was very friendly.

For starters I love Mexican food. But this was horrible! The tortillas are gummy let’s start there. The chips are like warmed Tostitos and not good. The food was lack luster. The waiter he didn’t get our order right I had one to go order for my husband working tonight on NYE and he never brought the to go order for my husband who is working very hard! He also didn’t give me the correct change! I handed him $100 and the bill was $81 and he tried to just give me $8 back and not the correct change. Next he brought out only 2 boxes when I asked for 4! And lastly he charged us $18 and some change for 3 kids sodas and an adult soda pop. $18 for soda pop without refill service!!!
Worst rip off ever after my husband heard the horror of it he said to me Lily just get me Taco Bell and I’ll be all good. So I did. What a joke of a place! Thanks for forgetting my husband and not giving us the right change and overcharging us for soda!

Festive, colorful decor. Oscar was the perfect server with explanations, recommendations and attending to all needs and requests. No wait time for drinks or food. You cannot go home hungry. All entrees were delicious.

The Old Guys Pub Crawl invaded Mi Pequena Hacienda and had a great time. Everything was awesome. I don’t think old geezers use the word awesome but that’s what it was. The old crawlers would say, “We love this place,” which is also awesome. We’ll be back.

I love the heated patio on a cool evening. This Lexington Tradition knows how to make you feel at home and ready for a family party. Service is top notch even when busy. Cleanliness is a 10 plus and food is awesome.
Don’t see something on the menu or need anything customized to suit your needs just ask. Never a problem here.

Beer on tap is warm and does not taste like it is refrigerated at all. Quesadilla was so soaking wet on the bottom. I’ve eaten here numerous times since they opened. Beer is always warm. Food is normally good but this was my first time getting quesadillas. I think it’s my last time there.

The shredded chicken tasted more like tuna fish, the service was slow, the hostess at the door was very pleasant, greeting and thanking the customers. Everyone else, not so much! The servers response to “thank you” was “no problem.” Very disappointing, I will not be returning!
