Buzzy tavern serving a variety of pub plates, craft beer, and creative cocktails.

Had heard good things about this place so had high hopes and I wasn’t disappointed!
I had the pretzel burger which was really good
Lovely thick patty served medium as requested. Messy to eat with the cheese sauce but very tasty.
My Mac and cheese side was really good too. Large portion, very cheesy with a great breadcrumb topping, and best of all not spicy at all (so many places served spicy Mac and cheese)
My wife’s smash burger had a great flavour and texture, however the patty was a bit dry and was very very salty (tasted like the chef had an accident with the salt!)
Had very good sweet potato fries with it!
The two girls service us were really friendly and efficient and the whole meal experience was really good.
I would highly recommend the burger here (maybe not the smash burger) and would come back again.

It was open late which was great because we were starving and came out of a show at Center Stage. It was a really nice 10 min walk to the tavern. Well lit streets. The food was very tasty, service was nice, and we enjoyed our time. I got the Southwest Bowl with steak and my wife ordered the blackened salmon. The Dip Trio was a large portion for an appetizer, that was nice. The candles were a nice touch. The music was a little loud for conversation and there are TV’s everywhere.

Stopped into McCray’s Tavern in downtown Atlanta. Parking is in the garage next door and you have to pay, which isn’t ideal. Inside, the music was on the loud side but we could still have a conversation. Service ran a little slow, but our server was genuinely friendly and the manager even stopped by to check on us, so it felt like they actually care.
I was not hungry and went with the beer and a shot special. It turned out to be a 7 oz Miller High Life and a shot of some liqueur for ten bucks. Even for the Champagne of Beers, that is not much beer for the price. My wife had a burger with fries and both were excellent. The draft list looked strong and the beers on tap tasted great.
I would go back for the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the good food, but I would skip that beer and shot special and plan on paying for parking.

One of the best spots in Midtown; a “Cheers Bar” if you will. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Shout out to Alexis, she helped us understand the spirit of McCrays! The spinach and artichoke dip was fire and the burger was made for champions! Their drinks were on point and I really like that there is space for everyone on their 3 floors. Thank yall so much for your hospitality, and we will see you next time.

I ate the chopped salad and added steak, pretty good- would order this again. Everyone pretty much finished their plate. Our reservation was at 10 and the place was slowly filling up as we were leaving so I definitely recommend an early reservation if you want more privacy/quiet. No parking validation which was a bummer.

Amazing!! We were here on a 2 day trip and had no clue where to go to eat. Found this absolute gem while stopping by a gas station a few blocks down. The staff was amazing! Embarrassing to say I forgot the name of our server, he was a taller bald guy. He was so sweet and amazing! The food here was delicious, Mac and cheese absolutely amazing!! And the wings.. don’t get me started, best wings I’ve had in a LONG time. I really recommend this place if you‘re looking for good food, service, and music. !!

Our server was pretty solid but the bar staff was super slow, group of 4 all drinking the same thing, margaritas, yet they were still made one at a time. I got The Matador burger and it actually exceeded my expectation for bar fare. Very close to having the puzzle assembled.

McCray’s tavern offers a wonderful atmosphere and even better service. On my server’s recommendation, I tried the blacked Market Fish Sandwich with sweet potato fries and honey. The flavors were spot on. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Atlanta.

Tried a new restaurant on my work trip to Atlanta in Midtown. I usually do reviews but walked blind. Cool vibe and set up in the restaurant. I had the southern fried chicken sandwich and it was good. The fries were okay. Service is one area to look at (check in on needs)
