Kilwins Ice Cream, Chocolate, and Fudge on the Wilmington Riverwalk is an absolute treat! The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh waffle cones and handmade fudge is irresistible. The ice cream is rich and creamy with tons of delicious flavors, and the chocolates and fudge are clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, patient, and happy to offer samples, which makes the experience even better. It’s the perfect stop while strolling the Riverwalk and a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

After our house cart ride, we stopped by Kilwins, and it turned out to be the perfect treat on a warm day! The shop has such a welcoming vibe, filled with the sweet aroma of freshly made chocolates, fudge, and candies . The staff was kind enough to let us sample some ice cream before choosing, which made the experience even more fun. We ended up going with pistachio and raspberry sorbet—both were absolutely delicious and refreshing! The pistachio was creamy and flavorful, while the sorbet was light and tangy, just what we needed in the heat. Beyond ice cream, the store also offers a wide variety of chocolates and confections, many of which seem to be made right there in-house. It’s a great spot whether you’re in the mood for a scoop, a sweet snack, or just to enjoy the cozy, old-fashioned candy shop atmosphere. Cheers!

I want to say one thing….I was here about two summers ago and I was super disappointed when there was a movie shoot going on out here! but fast forward to now I started watching the summer I turned pretty and I got to the part where they were at this kilwins….I think its just so cool I got to see the movie being shot here!

If you are a chocolate connisseur then you should already know about Kilwins . Fresh chocolates and also fudge. Free samples so you know the fudge isn’t old. Great selection also. Caramel is also a favorite and the caramel chocolate fudge was excellent. Soft caramel, not the stick yr teeth together kind. THE place to go to indulge yr sweet tooth. I’m from the West Coast where there is See’s Candies but East Coast it is Kilwins!

A chocoholics paradise! Busy at weekends but quiet during the week. I spent more than planned on fudge as it’s so delicious!
I highly recommend the Maple & Pecan fudge, the Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel fudge and the German style with Coconut. Also where else can you find a Chocolate Dino on a Scooter filled with peanut butter?! (See my photos)

Just went for fudge and a malt milkshake with a group of friends and the girl who helped us with fudge was kind, but when we moved over to get milkshakes, the lady there seemed annoyed. We paid for everything and I didn’t tip… when we got our milkshakes, my partner and I’s cherries were split between milkshakes and there was little to no malt in my milkshake. I’m not sure if not tipping is directly correlated with this behavior, but we did not feel welcome nor comfortable. If not tipping makes it to where we can’t get a whole cherry and properly made milkshakes that we ordered, we will not be coming here again.

I enjoy killwins but the line for this was extremely long and this location is small. It has you loop around the from entrance to exit in like a buffet style selection. The layout of this location is a bit tight.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! The peach flavor is amazing, and so is the chocolate. It’s not overly sweet, which we really appreciate. We’re extremely satisfied!
