I loved the Menomonie Family Restaurant. I grew up eating Gyro omelettes every Sunday after church until the place I went to closed. When I saw the menu at Menomonie Family Restaurant and saw they had a Gyro Omelette, I figured I’d give it a try. Why not. In a word, WOW! This was exactly the omelette I remember from my youth. To make it even greater, I asked the server for some hollandaise sauce, and she came back with a bowl of it. I put it on my omelette, I mixed it into my hashbrowns. I was in heaven for the 15 minutes I ate that meal. It was SO GOOD! I had tears while I was scraping my empty plate I was so sad my meal was over. It was perfect.
The pancakes are large and delicious also. Everything my family got they loved.
Personally, I’ll be back sooner than later. I have no real reason to go to Menomonie. But now that I know about the Gyro omelette here, I’ll certainly be back. Thanks for the wonderful breakfast.
Fast service, friendly wait staff, easy location, lots of parking, and delicious food. Give the Menomonie Family Restaurant a try when you’re in the area.

Good family restaurant. Food is like home cooked (at a good cooks house). Very friendly service. Had to wait a few minutes for a table because it was lunchtime and lots of people were there. Portions were big enough to get full. Great breakfast selections.

Arguably the best restaurant in town! I enjoy stopping here when I visit. The atmosphere is friendly, quiet, and very family-esq. But what makes this the best restaurant in town is the high-quality food for the best value; you get a decent portion (I often leave with leftovers) for what you might pay at one of the major chains for far less portion size.

Besides the funny hours, this place is great! There’s different areas to sit and the pie case is hard to miss lol staff is always attentive and my food is always hot and generous. One of the only places to get a real home cooked meal in this town! I like come here for lunch or breakfast dates with friends. It seems to be what other people like to do here too!

Menomonie Family Restaurant is one of my favorite places for breakfast all day. They have an extensive menu of breakfast dishes available all day and their pie is amazing. My favorites are the bacon skillet and raspberry cream cheese pie. The service is always good and they have had the same servers forever. It’s the go-to spot for breakfast in Menomonie.

It might have been my expectations, I was told how wonderful a restaurant this is only to be disappointed with my Friday fish dinner. It just wasn’t enjoyable. The french fries tasted more like fish than the fish.

Was my first time here, the servers were very friendly and were on top of refills. They have a large menu selection. It was nice to see large salads on a family restaurant menu. The food was great and they didn’t charge an arm and a leg for extras/additions.
